Wisconsin 5th in the Nation in Defensive yards per play

Swengali and Blackvern Crack me up. They'd rather have a high school defensive coordinator that runs a bland 1 gap cover 2 than any of these 3-4 guys. You can't make this **** up.

As long as that HS corch has "swagger", "crootin ability", and speaks like a rapper, they love him.

Lol ignorance at its finest... fincane shut down your argument sighting how the 3-4 d ends do not get sacks in this scheme So essentially they hold the fort down just like we all think 3-4 d ends do.... South Florida d linemen get up the field... We want no parts of that **** and disagree with u and u wanna throw some racist bulkshyt in an otherwise decent Conversation.... Way to go dudes

Who cares who gets the sacks? I didn't realize the goal here is to AQM the most sacks. I thought for SURE the goal is to have top 5 defenses every year.

So instead of AQM getting sacks, we can just recruit more 230 pounds fast savages that actually do grow on trees in SoFla, instead of having to go to NJ to pull a kid.

"IF Dlineman are holding up the OL for linebackers to make plays it will not end well..WE need a defense where D lineman are gettin up the field causing havoc in the backfield...DO NOT WANT. This is mothing more than a more agressive 2 gap scheme if what the announcer said is correcct"

Did you actually think before you posted this comment? Have you ever watched Aranda's defense? How can you disagree with what is being said if you don't know anything about the guy

A good 3-4 DC designs pressure looks to get his best rushers favorable matchups. Eagles use "3-4" double A gap looks so Fletcher Cox can get a 1on1 with a guard (look up his sack against the Bills/Incognito).

You can move Chad Thomas anywhere on the line on passing downs. Even the previous regime of corches did this occasionally.

Who cares about the front or gap responsibilities on running downs anyway? Even the idolized Seahawks "4-3" defense uses 2-gap principles on running downs. 300+ lb. Red Bryant was the starting DE for their championship team. "But you have to line up your savages and let them loose" lmao.

We got some quality Pop Warner assistant corches ITT...

How else can a DE have 2 sacks in 2 years?

If his style is so aggressive if his style produces so many sacks...and so many tackles for loss and confuses so many offenses...please explain these numbers.....

Here are some categories I expect a violent, aggressive, play-making defense to rank highly in, along with Wisconsin's average ranking in that category under Aranda.

Interceptions - 90th
Sacks - 52nd
Tackles for loss - 72nd

Untill you can explain this all your mumbo jumbo goes on one oear and out the other..looks like a lot of smoke and mirrors to me

They have a guy with 9.5 sacks and 8 sacks. What's your point? They are #1 in the country in ppg against at wisconsin, how can you argue with that?

Exactly.

It's the same morons over and over and over who think the way they see it done at Miami Central is how football works.

"Just get a bunch of recruiters bro"

"Just play 4-3 Cover 2 all game and let the guys run up field"

When's the last time a Miami player had 3 sacks in 3 consecutive plays?

Explain these numbers. Arizona State 2nd in sacks, 7th in tackles for loss, 41st in interceptions. 97th in scoring D and 103rd in total D. Record 6-6.

Did you watch the game against USC last night or are you watching this FSU-Houston game to see what an aggressive 3-4 does. Probably not.

This **** is getting ridiculous on this site.

No, those Aranda "hold the LOS" defenses fit teams with slow lumbering recruits from Utah, Iowa or Wisconsin. That styled defense don't fit teams from Florida, and especially not Miami.

We just lived this nightmare with Al Golden.

Jack cichy was really "holding the LOS" when he had 3 sacks on 3 consecutive plays wasn't he?

Why can't you grasp the concept that he can run a 4 man front against spread. You can have multiple fronts in a defense but it appears that you haven't grasped that concept.

Why do Aranda defenses get shredded by high powered offenses?
