That front 7 was tough. Leonard Marshall was on the DL as well as Eric Dorsey and then you had the linebackers.Burt was a heck of a player on that d. Quite underrated. Tough as nails. True Parcells guy.

William Roberts, who played OL on that team, was a Miami kid. MNW, iirc.Wasn’t there a guy named Ottis Anderson on that team too???
Had 66 catches for 1000+ yds in 86...He was gronk before gronk.
And that was back in the less pass era, on a parcells ground control team, with phil simms at qb.Had 66 catches for 1000+ yds in 86...
Only did it for two seasons, though. He was gronk before gronk.
I'm surprised he made it "that" long with the Hits he took....back when your *** got Lit tf up...Lott hit him like a Sledgehammer more than once...Only did it for two seasons, though.
Harry Carson hosted Castrol's Merchants of Menace on VHS.He did....with LT...Harry Carson & Carl Banks...
I am a fan of the “sledgehammer”.I'm surprised he made it "that" long with the Hits he took....back when your *** got Lit tf up...Lott hit him like a Sledgehammer more than once...
LT gets the credit (and rightfully so) but Banks and Carson weren't no joke...they'd knock your *** into yesterday as well...Harry Carson hosted Castrol's Merchants of Menace on VHS.
One can only imagine......I am a fan of the “sledgehammer”.

Banks and Carson and Pepper and (Marshall and Burt) were really more the heart of the d than LT. That was a parcells 3-4 and the inside guys and SAM were what made it work. LT was the edge jack differentiator no one had an answer for. Not diminishing him but Parcells Ds were always about the brawn.LT gets the credit (and rightfully so) but Banks and Carson weren't no joke...they'd knock your *** into yesterday as well...
Harry Reasons was another ILBer....George Young was an excellent GM...Banks and Carson and Pepper and (Marshall and Burt) were really more the heart of the d than LT. Looking back if Golden would have just go a competent DC things would be different. Compared to the last couple coaches his Offenses are miles better. Which isn't really saying much.
What’s the XFL?
still collecting decent nfl paychecksNo, Folden was pretty ******, as evidenced by his post Miami career.
