I really don’t get it. Drugs don’t even produce wild takes like that. That fool smoking, how can any injury be a positive on a thin team depth wise

We don't celebrate players getting hurt....and even if we did we wouldn't for OUR BEST PLAYERS you dumb ****Canes fans are the worst.
These injuries are getting ppl playing time that we going to be using in the future. They’re getting valuable mins. B Smith is growing because X is gone.
Y’all worried about a year that was going to be a wash anyway. There’s a lot of mid on this roster and it’s time to move on from it.
A lot of those injuries were a plus for us.
Parrish & K5 only ones that really matter.
The only thing I say is try and keep the games close and try and steal some of these games. There are no guarantees on this schedule. Every week gonna be a dogfight
Agree MTSU can never be forgiven but there are some bright spots and we are getting young guys huge reps and letting them get their feet wet while winning a game on the road. Just keep getting better.Without three starters on the OL, three of the top five Rb’s, three of the top five wr’s and your starting cb is not a gimme. Then mix in losing the go to guy Mallory in game and Arroyo already being out. There’s already no guarantees with conference games especially when you mix in the injuries on an already thin team. The cherry on top of all the injuries is a struggling OL that couldn’t even snap the ball on time most plays because of communication issues caused by noise in a tough environment. Yet we still pulled it out. I won’t apologize for a win. I’m not delusional enough to think we can overcome those injuries when all off season I said this team was a deck of cards that couldn’t handle many injuries. No matter what you think of our ” blue chip rating” this isn’t a very deep or talented team ( And no there’s no excuse for losing to MTSU).
If this team can just hold on to late October early Nov we could be somewhat healthy for the last few games and bowl. As I said after UNC “ I only care about getting better every week“. Keep taking positive steps and guys keep stepping up.
It wasn’t pretty but a win is a win.
I came into the season just wanting to see competence and that we'd be well-prepared with whatever we have.
If we lose a game while playing to the strengths of whatever players we have left, all good. If we lose or miss an opportunity against a lesser talented team while trying to jam square pegs into round holes, that's frustrating.
On the positive side, there have been some adjustments. On the negative side, despite a ~14M/year staff, the optics are that the program had to suffer to spark the adjustments.
I think we'd all feel a little differently if we just went with this current offensive approach since the beginning of the season. We might also be 4-2 or even 5-1. Whatever, onward. What choice do we have.
I did say that K5 and Smith could handle the load. Are you trying to be dumb ? You do know that’s really good numbers when you’re the third or fourth option right? That’s kinda how it works , guys leave them you move up into a bigger role. You must’ve been one of the experts saying “ we were better without X”
No he wasn’t that was K5. X was TVD safety blanket and best friend tho.X was our best WR heading into the season.
We missed steed yesterday? That fool smoking, how can any injury be a positive on a thin team depth wise
Tough spot for them, though — coming off an emotional loss to their rival.Duke lost to teams that have or would beat us. Button up your chinstraps.

And up until Young stepped up, our WR as a whole were mediocre. Dude just take your L and move on.No he wasn’t that was K5. X was TVD safety blanket and best friend tho.
We’ll see. I think we’re getting better and we still haven’t had a game where we put all three phases together. That’s abnormal. It’s going to happen eventually and we’ll be tough to beat. We’ll make them look like San Fran ‘94.
Ehhhh I seen TVD missing all types of throws. But blame the WRs I’ve seen them open and TVD missing reads. But you got it I’m wrong. And up until Young stepped up, our WR as a whole were mediocre. Dude just take your L and move on.
Can't argue with you on that.... I hate myself for saying this but I really wonder if we can beat Duke.... Seriously... That's how I know we have an issue when that's what I'm questioning.... I don't want to harp on the particulars that are beat to death post after post but things need to turn the other way... I don't want to feel the way I do about who we can or who we can't beat...I’m not against OPs thoughts, but we’re at the point that any win, even against a terrible team, plus some moral victories is OK…
That’s sad AF coming off the off-season…
And self-induced
Just about everyone in this thread has disagreed with you on your takes. Safe to say that you don’t know something we all don’t. Our roster isn’t built to succeed with this many injuries to starters.Ehhhh I seen TVD missing all types of throws. But blame the WRs I’ve seen them open and TVD missing reads. Sure, being down to our 3rd string Center has worked out great.A lot of those injuries were a plus for us.
