Willis Mcgahee

This would definitely be Top 5 "Brought the OB noise meter to the moon" moments. Place went crazy.

On another note, to see Willis with the size and speed combo lets you know we were really spoiled and probably didnt appreciate that era enough. We have been searching for almost 20 years for another Willis to come along. I am praying its Don Chaney. We are overdue for another freak RB like that. He looks like a superfreak running down the sidelines at that size.

The OB during the Mcgahee screen pass was the loudest I had heard the OB in years. When I was at the OB during that screen pass, the crowd went crazy. It probably hadn't been that loud since the mid 90's. As far as games I went to, it was the loudest moment since the 1991 Penn State game.

Did anyone notice that in the last few years of the OB from like 2002 on, they made changes to the stadium so that it wasn't as loud as it had been. That's why the Mcgahee screen pass was amazing. Thanksfor posting that.

Yes it's true the next play Geathers scored on a draw from Dorsey from the shotgun. The OB went crazy during that touchdown too.

Chaney isn't as fast. Willis ran like a 4.3. Dude was one cut and gone.

People don't realize all of about three RB's in CFB history posted 1500+ yards and 25+ TD's in a single season. Willis was one. Barry Sanders was another.
