I don't know, that buyout is huge. And then they'd have to pony up a ton of loot on another coach. They really screwed themselves with such an absurdly high buyout. Hilarious stuff.

They're gonna have to buy cheap. Theyll owe him and his staff plus the buyout and salary for whatever coach they hire and his staff. They're looking at at least 25 mil or more
 
It will be a consortium of Boosters putting up a lot of the loot.
In return,perks, flying with team, etc..

One of my older cousins is a FSU alum (I'm ashamed to admit it lol), but he told me most of their fans wanted Willie gone even if they beat Miami...

But with them losing to us the way they did, nah man they ain't waiting another year, they want him gone lol!
 
As bad as our AD is, how the **** to you sign a buyout that big?

you are correct. They have the money 💵. Just not where some people think it will come from.

BC May run for 500 on them. The kid from Lawrence Academy can play.

It took them years to get the $20M in funding for their IPF and ended up getting bailed out by a major football donor who has since passed away (Dunlap). I don't see their ability to pay $17M in buyout fees. And I love every second Willie is their coach!

they will force him to quit and strike a deal. probably walk away with 8million.
 
I know an FSU booster and on Monday there is a conference call when all boosters will talk to admin. They will pressure for removal. The only problem? $17 mil buyout +new coach.... I dont think they can get rid of him.
