Rumor by Noles Newberg is Willie is in Miami meeting with a one of our Coach’s today about a job, guessing Dugans.

Dugans just brought in Pope, Hightower and Wiggins. I'd question Dugans if he recently got a lobotomy if he were to jump to FSU in its current state.

I’m not concerned, but he was just doing his job. Respect for him getting the job done atleast before he made any moves.
But once again, I don’t think he is going anywhere but people have to stop citing him doing his job as a reason that he definitely isn’t leaving.

Yeah, if he leaves, I won't even be mad. He -- unlike Willie, and his FSU predecessor -- handled his business like a professional. Can't be mad at that.

His reputation would take a major hit if he told kids and families leading up to signing day that he was staying at UM only to bolt the next day. It’s not like the job just opened up. The jobs been open for 3 weeks and everyone knew he’d be a candidate. He’d be a bold faced liar.

While this is true, he could've bolted before signing day which would've been an all time d!ck move.

That’s not doing your job. Everyone had know the Taggart took the job 3 weeks ago and I’m sure dugans fielded questions about leaving and assured people he’d still be there.
If Taggart took the job today and offered dugans the job today and he bolted, no problem.

He could have bolted 3 weeks ago. He didn’t owe richt staying and I’m sure richt would have rather had that than have him lie to recruits and families and fly around with richt recruiting. It wouldn’t have been a **** move to leave 3 weeks ago. You’re wrong.
He didn’t need to help UM sign a top class that he’s going to have to face the next few years till Taggart gets fired.

We don't know the specifics of what may or may not have happened. Maybe Dugans turned him down and Taggart is now offering more bread and a better role. If the situation and dynamics change, were you really lying if you said you weren't leaving?

I always said, yeah, Dugans worked with Willie Vanillie before, but he also left Willie Vanillie to come to Miami. Could be a case of you lose em how you got em. Could be a case of extreme loyalty to Richt. Who knows.

Either way, if it were up to Taggart, Dugans would've bolted weeks ago and tried to take a few commits with him (doubt they would've come).

Straight up

Hebwouodnt have waited till the day after signing day to up he salary. Cmon. If he could have thwarted UM’s signing day and caused a few UM decommits, he would have.
If he wants to go, he can go. If he doesn’t value job security and see where UM is going vs FSU, he deserves them. I don’t think he’s dumb so I imagine he stays.

You think he cares about whether UM fans view his move as a **** move? If he knew he was going, why fly around with richt and help secure a top 5 class of recruits he’s gonna play against? The right move is to leave 3 weeks ago. Not lying to kids and richt and families. You guys don’t make sense.

I wish that were true, not just because we'd be losing a coach, but because it would mean there was a little integrity left in the game. I don't think anybody in college football has the slightest compunction about doing what they want to do no matter what it means to others. If he bolts, nobody will will hold it against him in a month or two because there will be plenty of other people doing the same or worse.
