With more athleticism. Rumor is that Randall Cunningham is his actual bio dad. Or maybe James Lofton. I forget which. Now he’s also Peyton Manning?

College freshman Peyton Manning. Now he’s also Peyton Manning?
Brady at Michigan outplayed Drew Henson at Michigan, who had first-round-buzz written everywhere. One of the few less-known stories of absolute ungodly incompetence by Michigan boosters.I'm kidding but also kind of serious lol.
To my defense, I qualified it by saying AT Michigan. He went on to be a 6th round pick out of college.
I think comparing Emory Williams to a 6th round qb isn't that crazy lol.
I'm not saying NFL Brady.
If he stays on trajectory, we could have a Ken Dorsey with a stronger arm, on our hands...I've been saying it since I saw him play his Sr. yr. Just how he carries himself in regards to his film-study, and his maturity off the field as well.
PauseArch got the noodle
Not just the boosters! I’ve still got my #7 Henson jerseyBrady at Michigan outplayed Drew Henson at Michigan, who had first-round-buzz written everywhere. One of the few less-known stories of absolute ungodly incompetence by Michigan boosters.
The boosters forced Carr to play Henson all the time. It didn't make sense and Brady ultimately had to demonstrate it.Not just the boosters! I’ve still got my #7 Henson jersey
My older son follows UT heavily (we’re in Austin) and he says Ewers has looked good, as has the four star quarterback that they got a year ago who is a rough analog to Brown here. Manning has done okay, but is not outperforming Ewers.Interesting conversation I had with a friend of mine, who is a big contributor to UM, but he's very connected to the University of Texas. through his Uncle. I'd guess his uncle has probably given $50 Million to UT. (He was one of the guys who paid up so they could get rid of Charlie Strong)
My friend was a pretty good player himself in college, and I trust his judgment. He's had a chance to see maybe 3 or 4 UM practices this spring.
He was at the UT spring game in Austin and told me:
"Arch Manning is talented, no doubt. But right now, Emory Williams is more developed as a QB and a better player. If you didn't know the names on the back of the jersey, it would be pretty clear who you'd pick if you were recruiting them both"
Interesting - you mean someone is trying to lure Charles Wright away?Arch better worry about that other kid teams are already tampering with. Texas 2nd string QB. Also the other NFL son Josh McCown looks incredible. Either it's his son or family member.
and with a better looking girlfriendEmory Williams at the spring game reminded me of a young Tom Brady at Michigan, except faster.
I said this in jest a few months ago.
Now it’s reality.
Funny you bring this up. I grew up with Emory's pops. Back in third grade I told his dad, I said "bro, one day, you're gonna have a son, and he's gonna be the next under the radar Dan Montingham." He believes me now...I said this before Emory was conceived.
Yessir after his spring gameInteresting - you mean someone is trying to lure Charles Wright away?
purely CIS where we watch one spring game and compare a true freshman to the greatest QBs of all time. no longer wonder why we get threads about brown disappointing us bc its our own stupidity. he could be a trash can against dudes that arent his own teammates. he could be the next vinny lol. lets cool it on expectations till we actually see him against real opponents and not in glorified practicesNow he’s also Peyton Manning?
I watched a 4 minute video which showed every snap Manning took in his spring game. I thought he looked like a high school senior and had I seen him and Williams back to back without knowing anything about them, I would have thought they had similar spring games. BUT the expectations are so high for Manning, and fairly low for Williams that our vision is clouded by this.
IMO Williams is going to be good if he keeps progressing, but so will Manning.
The million dollar difference between them is a million dollars. Manning has to prove he is worth a million NIL dollars and Williams does not. Be careful where NIL money is spent.
He’s like a young John Elway, but with smaller teeth.
