Well One coach has 11 years of Head Coaching experience, made tournament 7 times, and would have been 8 if not for Covid. Will Wade would have been such a perfect fit at Miami, it honestly should just irritate all serious Miami basketball fans that we didn't go after him.

Let's hope Lucas hires a great assistant, and recruits like he was at Duke and Kentucky.

And the other guy tied the NCAA record for the biggest win differential in consecutive seasons. We won almost 20 games more this year than last year AND that’s with every player leaving and having to put together a whole new team.

Look I understand the uneasiness with Lucas as the head coach without any HC experience and that’s a valid concern. I get what you’re saying and agree with you in general.

However, I think Lucas DESERVES some time and patience from us fans to see if he has the ability to turn the basketball program around. I know coach L is well loved by everyone and deservedly so. Let’s give Lucas some time before we replace him with someone.

There were a lot of people saying similar stuff about Mario when he took over and it seems premature in hindsight. All I am saying is let’s let him cook and sample the tasty treats before complaining about the menu.
