Will the recruits follow Mario

Whoever actually thought we were in a bid to get Mario even though I'm not a fan of him or Lane. Leach would be my target. This homer shot has to stop in order for us to grow and get back to winning.

Would be nice to get a few surprises to follow him, and enhance this lack luster class.

Interesting

Can you point me in the direction of that one my man?
Go to 21:50 and watch for a few minutes. I couldn't remember where I heard this initially so slightly embarrassed to admit it was from Ferman and whoever the other guy is. Anonymous coaches said he was the best recruiter but i read that a long time ago and I'm not sure where. He personally calls at least the top recruits every day himself.

Realistically speaking, of course not.

But where’s the fun in that?

It’s better to assume all the top prospects in their class will suddenly decommit & sign with Miami despite not ever being offered nor having ever visited...

Cat What GIF by truth

I don’t know the backstory there

You know what it was about?

Yelled at the kid one game then a couple games later or so, they were filmed in the same way completely chumming it up. I’ll try and dig up the meme - it was like a “where we started, where we’re at” kind of thing

Dude he's not in the same class as Lincoln first. Whoever we get as a coach is lucky enough to have everything South Florida at it's disposal to lure decent athletes.
Riley is flipping all of the SoCal kids that only committed to Oklahoma BECAUSE USC were down.

What's happened there is what everyone said would happen if USC actually got serious about football again. All the SoCal kids want to play for USC - Riley signing as their HC has given them a reason to.

Maybe more relevant, wasn't there a recent rule change that allows us to sign more that 25+ players if we sign under 25 the previous year?

This would remove all my worry. Just don't go out and offer any jags out of desperation.
We have 23 (if I remember correctly) IC's for HS kids right now. The NCAA is also allowing 7 more IC's for transfers. So realistically we could have 30 additions if the roster had enough room. Yet right now we're sitting with 8 commits and don't look good with remaining targets.

If we don't use them we could use them next cycle, but that would ***** up the balance of our roster. Not to mention would waste the last 2 good classes we've added. Manny really screwed us by botching this class.
