He must have them beating the following teams to be that high.....lol no f*cking shot

Edit: after looking they would probably only need to win 4 of these but still no f*cking shot. But there is still home vs Tenn and @ Kentucky and home VS FSU.

There may not even be a large fall off statistically from Ward to Beck. Our conference worst defensive back room, might be the most expensive room in the nation now with all kinds of depth. The defensive coordinator should be an upgrade with more aggressiveness in the front 7. The three most important questions going into the year from last year's team have been answered with big money and good players/coach.

It'd take some real acts of nature (aka Mario going full Mario with brutal November losses) for us to not make the ACCCG and as a result, the CFP.
 
didn't watch the whole thing but he basically said if our secondary improves this year we will be a playoff contender

he said the line of a scrimmage will be the strength of the team, maybe one of the best in the country
he said that is how you grind out games, such as @ Pitt and @ VT to end the year

JP has always given fair takes with us

This is why certain folks in media are down or are in wait and see mode... I'm a little apprehensive myself. QB, DB, and the defense were definite question marks but the biggest question mark will always be can Mario and the staff maximize the team's potential.

He mentioned SEC will flex SOS muscles and a 9-3 UFag could be first 3-loss team invited. As of today, they have one of most "brutal" schedules.

Pate isn’t really going crazy here… if he thinks ND and UF (lol) are playoff teams, then he obviously has them beating Miami which means Miami would need to win every other game and go undefeated in ACC (something that has never happened).

With that being said, **** him. We ball.
