Wiggins

Dugans has been working with Cager for three years and he still can't catch the ball, why do you think he'll improve Wiggins?

Another game, another series of dropped passes by our receivers. They would have cracked 50 against VT if they didn't drop all those easy touchdown passes.

Wayne in my opinion is the best possession Reciever in UM History.

While I agree with you, it's almost an insult to call him a possession receiver. Moss was the big play guy but Wayne wasn't exactly averaging 9 yards per catch while he was here either.

But he was a possession WR....he was with the Colts as well....Harrison was the Big play guy...but RW was the better possession WR....Didn't have Tana's or Harrisons speed...

Andre Johnson had hands of stone his Frosh yr.....Turned out pretty good..

Johnson had questionable hands his entire time here really. When he dis catch it though, look out.

The problem the entire time was his eyesight. Pre-draft, they identified the issue and the rest is history. I always found it odd we didn't catch that while he was here.

I watched him workout with Dorsey off campus several times in 01 & 02

Santana Moss, Andre Johnson, Phillip Dorsett, Leonard Hankerson, Jimmy Graham and many others all had drop issues early. He’ll figure it out.

Wiggins gets PT because he knows the plays and he blocks consistently. His hands/eyesight need improvement but he is a true FR. Jug machine and time is all he needs.

There's not a former UM reciever that had better hands than Reggie Wayne...

Saw Reggie grow up. One of the best short-stops I'd ever seen. Always thought that had something to do with his great hands. His das was a head coach at a major program here in Nola but Reggie didn't even play football until high school - and then he went to John Ehret.

He only had a couple of offers and I thought Miami was the only serious one. Back then Curtis Johnson (Miami assistant under Butch) was always in New Orleans and I thought it was interesting that he and Butch saw something in Reggie that no other school saw.

Reggie had great hands. But I was always impressed to see his technique develop every year at Miami. He didn't rely on speed as much as technique and hands.

The Curtis Johnson / Butch Davis duo was a favorite among Nola high school coaches at the time. ****, all time. I still hear stories.

Loved CJ....

If you have to teach the kid how to catch once they get to you, you are recruiting the wrong receivers.
