I can't remember any Canes team ever with such weak LB and WR play. Its almost like they don't exist.
Move Joyner back to LB, maybe Carter as well? Let Gil play safety
WR room is hard to believe. Saw lots of freshman get snaps today but none stood out except the Keyshawn deep PI no call
Not worried about DT. Like others said Ford is there to take up space and let others make plays
Ford does nothing. Needs to be benched.

I always thought that why not move carter to WLB he definitely can play it he’s not a good safety bad out in space. He would make a really good LB if given the chance

J-Hunte, Flagg, Brooks, and Miller all have outplayed the players they back up. J-Hunte and Miller have made more plays separate than Ford all year. Flagg gets in and is lining the defense up and being in position. McCloud just stands still for two seconds and then goes the opposite direction of the play. Brooks diagnoses plays and always near the ball. Jennings diagnoses the play and runs past it.

Ivey was benched shortly for Couch and now they both balling. Frierson was benched shortly for Smith and now they both balling. Ford, Jennings, and McCloud continue to be out of position and have no impact on the game yet they lose no PT. Competition breads excellence and so far Manny’s position group starters aren’t getting any better, yet the younger guys are flourishing.

But we’re talking about a coach that had a projected top ten NFL pick as a backup for nearly half the season.

Dude how many times does this need to be debunked?

Oh for sure he looks slow on the field and he is stiff (part of his issue navigating the box). He actually has really good physical attributes for a backer. The majority of the time when we see him he has no clue what is going on in front of him so he doesn't play fast. Every now and then he will flash and make a play that he read correctly and you can see his athleticism come out. It doesn't happen but about once a game so athletically he looks like **** most of the time lol...
When he is just Blitzing off the Edge or rushing the QB is actually does look explosive. That's because in those situations he knows exactly what he should be doing. McCloud is a OLB/Viper not a MLB.

O:

QB- King
RB- HARRIS
RB 2 - CHANEY
WR- POPE
TE- MALLORY
TE- Jordan
LT- Zion
LG- Clark
C- Gaynor
RG- Scaife
RT- Jarrid

WE DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT PERSONNEL TO CONTINUE RUNNING THIS STYLE OF OFFENSE. WE NEED TO RUN MORE OF A 2 TE SET. WE HAVE 2 GREAT TIGHT ENDS AND 3 GREAT RUNNING BACKS. WE DO NOT HAVE ANY RECIEVERS. WE NEED TO CATER OUR OFFENSE TO OUR PERSONNEL.

D while using our rotations:

DE- Jaelen
DT- Nesta
DT- JHH
DE- Quincy
OLB- BROOKS
MLB- RAGONE
Striker- Gil
CB- Al
CB- Te’Cory
FS- Bubba
SS- CARTER

KR-PR- RESTREPO

RAGONE IS THE MOST CONSISTENT LB WE HAVE. IF YOU GO BACK TO LAST YEAR HE HAS A NOSE FOR THE BALL AND KNOWS THE DEFENSE. BROOKS IS LONG AND FAST AND SEEMS TO BE GETTING A BETTER GRASP OF THE DEFENSE. FLAGG CAN BE IN THE MIX WITH THEM AS WELL. HE HAS DONE A GOOD JOB AND WILL ONLY GET BETTER

Exactly, when he doesn't have to make a read and can just go downhill he shows ability.

It is time for their snaps to be cut by 80%.

Millier, Brooks, Redding,Smith, need more snaps.

Hall and Bolden should be our starting safeties.

I'm tired of seeing Carter go for a big hit only to have the runner/receiver bounce off and gain extra yards. He is trash as a safety and probably not much better as a linebacker.

He needs to go

I opened this thinking they all hit the portal. More like wishing I'll add you a couple names. Jakai Clark, John Campbell our center.
Yea let’s have no depth at all. Great fucking strategy. You think you’ll have a roster of 60 starters?..
