Why was Golden given so much more of pass than Richt?

Richt is a damned good coach, and he's brought in good assistants. People for get that he had a short recruiting season, he's using
many of Goldens recruits, he's been forced to use many freshman, and his o-line should be charged with assault/battery on Kaaya
who probably is brain-bonkers with all the hits he's taken.
In short, this is going to be rough year for him, and I believe that no one wants a contender at Miami than Mark Richt.
I say, give him time to build his team. I'm looking at 2017 not this year as the die has been cast.

We're not a championship caliber team, but we should be beating UNC and Va Tech. Didnt UNC have Scholarship reductions? Were they this bad [emoji15]

It took Fedora a couple years to get UNC going, they did beat Miami 59-21 last year. Brad Kaaya is just holding this team back he is the last "leader" on this team wit the Al Golden mentality. Once he's gone the teams mentality will change.

Nobody really complained about Golden in year 1. You can even look through the canesinsight archives and see people were generally positive after him after the 2011 season. The only people complaining that early were black posters like MiamiNites who thought Shannon got a raw deal. I know some people will retroactively claim they realized Golden was a bad coach after the Maryland game but...

The 2012 ND game is the 1st point where I can remember any white people questioning if Golden was the right coach. Especially after that was followed up by losses to UNC and FSU. But once the season ended with 2 straight wins people seemed to be content. Although many wondered why Donofrio was being retained.

The bowl game against Louisville is the 1st point where a substantial number of people turned against him.

Why are people now only giving Richt 7 games?

Because CiS was and is infested w retarded mongrels

No offense but weren't you the one saying UNC was this, that and the other? How'd that work out?

Some fans initially gave Golden the benefit of the doubt because of the NCAA investigation before he over played that card and "the cloud" became a running joke. In reality though, plenty of fans were calling out Golden's ****** defense in year 1. In Richt's case, it's the offense we are upset about, and rightly so. I don't see the problem with fans being vocal about a legitimate issue.

Al ruined it for all future coaches. Nobody will ever get the benefit of the doubt again.

This is MIAMI - the program that set the gold standard for college football. To **** with any BS excuses.

Experiments, underachievers and average at best guys should NEVER be head coach of the Canes.

Howard Schnellenberger, Jimmy Johnson, Dennis Erickson, and Butch Davis were all experiments. Neither had a track record of sustained success as a college football head coach before arriving in Miami.
