I know who cares what Urban Meyer has to say, well I do when it applies significantly to the bad call on the non-safety, especially since a poster here said it was no big deal. That comment was stupid and ticked me off so don't combine this with that thread please. He also mentions recruiting that is pertinent as to why he went to the gator and not ND and where we should concentrate (he echoes Howard and Howard's State of Miami).

Time line to watch:

You made an entire thread in response to a comment that was stupid. Kuddos.

I can’t ******* believe I clicked that video
Before i waste any more time than i already have seeing the name of the OP, clicking into, and scrolling down, does it have anything to do whatsoever with miami, or suggest anything that anyone here doesn’t already know? I assume the answer to both is no, but thanks in advance for your sacrifice.

There’s nothing remotely Miami related in it, just Urban talking about his life

Save yourselves

My first reaction was why in the **** is Urban Meyer taking about a random Miami bad call? Based on the responses, he wasn’t. What does this video have to do with anything?

And… on top of that, they could’ve given us 3 safeties and we aren’t winning that game. We were outplayed handedly in 3/4 quarters. Give it a rest. And don’t come at me with the yards. FSU was in control and got a big play every time they needed one.

Momentum swings are important. How often has a team played flat and then everything turns around on a turn over, a long offensive play, a 4th down stop, a big sack, and yes...a safety. The entire attitude and performance of a team grabs that momentum and plays dramatically better. Hearing Meyer say that adds validity to the power of Momentum. When the officials took it away our team obviously seemed to go flat. It was, here we go again, the officials screwed us again. It was an obvious deflation, that's my point!

Between the inordinate amount of $h!tty calls that have gone against Miami this year and the inordinate amount of our own $hitty coaching mishaps this season, I truly don’t have a clue how good (of bad) this year’s team really is. By now, we should know…but we honestly don’t have a clue.

So we’re looking for momentum by beating Louisville Boston College, and whomever we may play in a bowl game.
