Why the hype for Kiffin?

JHallCanes, it's been a long time. I enjoyed our time in Pittsburgh years ago. That being said, Mario is not the answer you muscled fool. He is a corch and will not do well here. Lane is the answer cause he doesn't give a F ck. Him and Jurich would kill it here. Lane is the answer.
Lol I didn’t say he was. I was just making a joke since you can’t mention one without the other one coming up immediately

But my man! That was a blast. Would love to get back up that way again though I moved from that area a couple of years ago

I swore I was done going to games until the admin got its **** together though

dudes really don't have a problem with Kiffin the coach. it's Kiffin the man who they're really uncomfortable with. me personally, idgaf what my coach does in his private life. the on-field product is the only thing I'm concerned about.
I think he has settled down and matured alot. If you listen to him speak he seems to be pretty happy and measured in what he says. I’d be very happy if we landed him.

What’s so great about the on field product? He has gotten average results.

I agree with you. he's a fit here.

yesterday around this time I was optimistic that Kiffin had chance to come here. after hearing that they're backing off Jurich I don't feel like our mentality is changing at all. Kiffin won't even be considered.

I am most concerned with Kiffin the recruiter.

The obsession with this coach is hilarious, considering his career failures as a HC. Tremendous coordinator he is, not everyone is fit for HC. This would be a disaster hire for Miami considering the strikeout rate has been 100% in recent history with HC hires. If new AD comes in and makes a lazy *** hire like this off the bat, immediate red flag.

They're backing off Jurich? When did this happen?
it's not fact. David Lake said that he thinks activating the search firm means no Jurich because the firm is unlikely to recommend someone with a past like his. I'm definitely not taking that as gospel, but considering how conservative this program has been, it is believable.

Plenty of failed experience and he has United Van Lines on speed dial. Also, isn't it suspicious he wants out so soon and is testing us?????
Where did he fail? USC? Took a .500 team and won 10 games… then the NCAA sanctioned 30 scholarship hit started to cripple the program.

Took a 4 win FAU team and immediately won 11 games and a conference ‘ship. Followed by another conference ‘ship.

In between those stops he remade Alabama’s offense. Went from a dated pro style to a championship winning position spread.

I actually am more sold on lane than I was before reading that link.
