Why not fly banners for him? Let him feel the heat.

Instead of two banners for Al Golden, why not do one Golden and Blake James.

This is the approach Michigan fans took to get the AD and Brady Hoke out!

A Michigan student started a petition to remove athletic director Dave Brandon from his position at the university, accusing the former Domino's Pizza CEO of "alienating the current student body" due to poor decision-making and bringing negative press to the athletic department and the university.

Upon being named the Athletic Director, Mr. Brandon stated "athletic programs play [a role] in helping to shape the culture and image of our university community." Unfortunately, under Mr. Brandon's tenure, the football program, one of the most prominent programs at the University of Michigan and in the nation, has become a black eye for the University of Michigan. Instead of adding to the image and prestige of the university, the state of the athletic department has hurt the connection shared between alumni, fans, and the university.

do you turn the heat up on a substitute teacher? Blake James holds no power....he has the same amount of power over um football as the guys at the stadium that wear the red polo shirts with ELITE written on them.
 
Maybe you're right, but I'm sure heat on his *** may convince him to try a little harder to convince the guys who do have a say to get rid of this guy ASAP!
 
And that is another reason this program screwed the F up! Why doesn't he have a say or any power. He should at least have a voice. I can understand the BOT having the final say and signature on the check. But what the F is he doing? Collecting a free check?
 
I agree with OP. At this point, there really isn't a need to focus on Al Golden. Everyone knows he's done. No one outside of Miami knows who Blake James is and that is why he's safe. He's getting away with doing nothing. The attention should be focused on him. He could make a case to get rid of Golden to the BOT. He needs to be fired.
 
all the heat should go to the BOT imo.

Just continue to embarass them with banners with their snobby azzes.

Have to go after BOT. We have made the point about Al. On another thread we have been talking about banners thanking the ACC for all the free money they pay us without us doing a thing. I think that would be best way. We would not be limited to Miami games. We could fly them at any ACC game. "Thanks to ACC for the $$$ -- THE U"
