Why NFL Coaches fail as College Coaches

We dont need an X and O HC, our problem has been the horses the talent level is ****, we always been our best when we out talent not out scheme. We arent UCF
Who in the Coastal has more talent than Miami?

Lol….. Here’s something for CIS. Our OL isn’t as bad as our playcalling makes them look. talent wise, I think they are extremely underrated. When the only run play you have is inside zone and the defense knows when your calling it., it is very very easy to play against as a DL/LB.

Enos made our guys look atrocious in pass pro by calling dumbasss playaction 7 step drops with no experience on the OL. Lashlee is doing similar via the run.

You want examples of longtime NFL guys (top assistants and HC's) failing miserably, "NFL to College?" .... there's plenty of those:

Bill Callahan, Charlie Weis, Lovie Smith, Mike Sherman, Chan Gailey, Jim Caldwell, ..... I could keep going, because this list is long. it's even longer of you include guys that had some success in college went off to longer NFL careers, and tried to come back. The failure rate there is even greater.

Bill Callahan would have made a good college coach. He was just a really bad fit for Nebraska the state. He also was not going to be able to recruit to Nebraska for the offense he wanted to run. But if he were to be at USC, UCLA, or Washington he would have been really good.
