Watched a video where he was reviewing Okie st. and he was talking about how the coaches like Cig, Chesney and Eric Morris can hit the ground running because they bought soo many guys over with them and how he missed that window, espcially going to GT following a triple option roster/coach..

But like Dawson said in presser today, in this sport you can go from pent house to outhouse REAL FAST..

5 years ago he finished 3-9 at GT. You’re probably thinking of 2018 when he finished 8-4 at Temple.

Collins had the misfortune of replacing Paul Johnson and his scheme in the days before the transfer portal and NIL. I remember a story from when he took over, they didn’t have a single Tight End on the roster and all the OL were undersized guys recruited to play in the triple option scheme. Not to much no QB who could consistently pass.

He made mistakes but he left a way better roster to Brent Key than what he inherited.

He was hyped despite his results.

Miami fans from the 80's on have to be spoiled, for you to run into this many great coaching staffs in one lifetime opposing fans have to be jealous.

This was an awesome video. I liked his explanation on how Mali and Mark complemented each other. The need to respect the power run opens up the explosive plays downfield.
