Why is Winston Moss never mentioned as a HC candidate?

Grew up here, played here, is a proven NFL assistant who nearly got the Raiders job a couple years ago. I think he would be a GREAT hire.

"Running a college program" is highly overrated. He's been qualified enough to have NFL teams consider him to be their HC. Golden "ran a college program" prior to coming here, how has that worked out. Moss would be 10x more qualified than Randy was.

The qualifications to run a college program are completely different from the qualifications to coach linebackers. Two different worlds. Do you really want to bring him in just to find out that the job of managing the whole program doesn't fit his skill set?

There are a thousand guys more qualified than Winston Moss. Or are you one of those guys who thinks that Michael Irving should be the next school president.

Actually that's a solid mention with Winston Moss, I read somewhere many players within the Green Bay locker room had a ton of respect for him and they felt he would make the best HC of all the assistants there (including Philbin which is currently an NFL HC). I believe Alonzo Highsmith felt the same way. I mean we can always give him a shot as a DC first.
