Why is Carter backing up Crawford?

crawford starting over Jenkins is mind boggling. Me personally I would put the best on the field.

Its simple.....4-2-5 man press coverage and swarm to the football. If the other guy beats you so be it..........get the nastiest meanest fastest players on the field.

Our players are taught to take on the blocks instead of making plays on the football which is crazy. Watch the FAU game again and you would see our lbs running straight into their blockers when they had a straight shot at their running backs.

Agree on Carter, he should be the 3rd safety right now. BTW, Gordinier is not slow or unathletic. Hard to project him, but he's a big, physical kid with decent speed. Not sure he'll end up nearly as good as Darren Krein or Jamaal Green, but he reminds me of them coming out of HS. Both those kids redshirted and i expect Gordinier to as well.

what dependable about Dallas? the only thing hes reliable for is knowing the opponents shoelace color
 
These dummies make the defense so complex that the players cant even play a hundred miles an hour because they are always guessing on what they should do. As narduzzi said, keep the defense simple so the kids can play fast. they will never learn.

after four ******* years, our guys still don't know what to do. how in the world does this staff not get that their **** scheme doesn't work.
