Why I’m starting to really like Mike Harley more each day. **UPDATE** (EDIT: Malik Rosier showing his heart and leadership)

I appreciate the maturity of these young men - caring for others before yourself is not a natural trait, especially not at that age. Savages on the field, serving others off it.

The U is just a bunch of "Thugs", right? I hope my son turns out to be one of these "Thugs"

Our kids have always been much better than the image they so enjoyed being cast in, but never dirty unless you call thier dances dirty dancing. BYU and ND were always dirty platers. This sick kid has great taste: any Hurricane player. May The Good Lord preserve him.

Always ****ed me off when folks always labeled the players in this program as thugs. I've known some UM players since the late 1970s and all of them, regardless of race and background were always good young men...very approachable.
To be fair, we have some fans who also gloat about the thugs on our past great teams, which was also ignorant, if not a slap to the student athletes who repped the school and our city.
Anyways, kudos to OP for sharing this info.

I got this from the MainBoard on Rivals. This guy posted it because a doctor has been giving patients dog dewormer and it has been killing the cancer in his patients. I dont know if any of yall are on tMB but the link for the thread is at the bottom and there are a few people itt that are being cured. Maybe its not to late for the lil homie. If anyone can get this to his family, please do! Ill make sure I bump this thread in the am.

Fvck Cancer!

A year and a half ago there was a post on the Okstate Rivals board stating, if you know anyone with cancer message @Cowboy76.

@Pancreek1 who you are about to read his story messaged @Cowboy76. I now know people taking this drug right hoping to be one of the many cures of cancer. $2 per dose.

So today I was told by my oncologist at MD Anderson that I am the FIRST patient in their entire history to have small cell lung cancer metastasize throughout my entire body (I was covered in the cancer from head to toe in hundreds of tumors/lesions, including my neck, both lungs, stomach, liver, pancreas and my tailbone), that then went on to have 4 consecutive quarters of "all clear" PET scans.

Back story:

I was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer on Labor Day 2016. I missed the entire 2016 footballl season as I endured heavy chemo and radiation on my left lung where a tumor the size of my fist was there (and had no symptoms....found literally by accident). In the process, they caused pneumonia and the radiation angles (6 of them) all fried my esophagus. Instead of a feeding tube I decided to get hydration from IV and literally live off of my fat stores. Started at 190lbs and by the time my esophagus healed, I weighted 128bls and looked like I had escaped Auschwitz in WWII. (The people that saw me at last yr's extreme camp can attest to my brute strength 130lbs of skin on bones)

In January 2017, a PET scan showed the unthinkable. The small cell lung cancer had metastasized to my entire body. The survivability of widely metastatic small cell is 0%, with a median/mean survival of 3 months. I was literally sent home from MD Anderson in Houston and told there was nothing else they could do for me and I had less than 3 months to live.

The day after I returned to Edmond, Cowboy76 posted an innocuous and generic post on this very Corral forum that simply said, "If you have cancer or know someone who does, give me a shout, I have some interesting news". I've known David and his kids for years so I reached out to him.

He told me a story of a lady at Merck Animal Health (Vetmed division) doing cancer research on mice and discovering quite by accident that a decades old "off patent" animal (cattle, dogs, cats, goats, pigs, etc) dewormer was batting 1.000 in killing all kinds of cancers......and that the lady doing the research had been diagnosed with late stage brain cancer and decided to self prescribe the stuff to herself....and she was all clear a matter of 6-8 weeks later.

Dr. Dave shipped me a supply of the dog dewormer and, having just been told I had only 3 months to live, I started taking it to his suggested dosage. I started taking the dewormer in the 3rd week of January 2017.

Subsequently, My PET scan in first week of May 2017 (3.5 months later) showed that I was all clear. So did the scans in September 17 and January 2018. Today in Houston, my oncologist at MD Anderson walked in the room and said, "In January 2017, we kicked you out of here because there was nothing else we could do for you. Today I'm kicking you out of here because we only serve people with cancer here."

As a backdrop, MD Anderson is now convinced it was the dog dewormer. And I am the first patient in their history to survive the depth of what I had. And MD Anderson, Johns Hopkins and the Univ of Oklahoma all have research projects on the category of intestinal dewormers. MD Anderson and Univ of Oklahoma are directly related to my story.

And because my story has spread so far and wide, I am fielding approx 20 calls per week and have new success stories (so far 4 in all kinds of cancers), and I know Cowboy76 also has additional success stories other than me.

So, faith matters. Prayers matter. Positive thinking and attitude most definitely matter.

And whodathunkit!!!! I spent $1.2M at MD Anderson and was saved by a $5.00 per week OTC dog medicine recommended to me by an OSU grad large animal veterinarian in W. Oklahoma, and DISCOVERED by the bond of OSU fans getting together on-line to cuss and discuss OSU sports, non sports and politics on an open Orange forum called the Corral.

Thanks to Dr. David, Thanks for all of the prayers and I am determined to help as many people as possible hear this story. To that end, I am available to discuss this if you have a loved one that would like to know more.

You just can't make up stuff like this. Truth is always stranger than fiction.

Dr. David-580-660-5238 for more information.

You take this kind of stuff at face value?

Presenting “scientific data” gleaned from a message board to people that are very vulnerable is not very smart at all.

Especially when it’s more than likely a scheme to sell them something.

There is no literature on dog dewormer fully curing anyone of cancer, and the example cited of someone being riddled with metastasized cancer from head to toe, and being cured/cancer free is not true. It would have been published by MD Anderson. Or at least been presented as an abstract or in a poster. I know this for an absolute fact.

I know you mean well, but this is the wrong thing to do to these people.

I can 100% guarantee that phone number is for a charlatan trying to take their money.

Last I heard, there is already an NIH phase I clinical trail in conjunction with All Children’s (Johns Hopkins) Hospital in St. Pete, using mebendazole (originally a canine pinworm drug). I’m sure his physicians are aware of his eligibility for this trial and treatment modality.

Again, I know you are trying to do some good. But I don’t believe it’s ethical for strangers to get between patients and their doctors/treatment, especially people that are not family.

The best thing we can do is offer prayers, love and support and NOT get involved in their medical treatment. That’s unconscionable.

Not only that, but think of all the potential side effects of taking animal de wormer.

I get what youre saying and believe me I was skeptical at first. I have no reason to troll a kid with brain cancer but the fact that this is working on dozens of people is nothing short of amazing. The fact that MD Anderson, John Hopkins, and The University of Oklahoma are looking into this might peak their interest. They've all received grants for this research. I know you didnt read the 10 page thread I posted that contains an oncologist phone number that is willing to help anyone for free, multiple articles/studies linked and numerous people wishing their family members that have died from cancer would have known about something like this could maybe still be alive. You think Big Pharma wants this to get out? Fvck no. However, at this point, what is there to lose? Its a whole lot better than looking in the rear view mirror and thinking what if. I can only put the theory out there for the family but its their choice to pursue if someone can get this to them, not ours...

Just my thought here.

If someone is terminally ill all FDA treatments have failed, why couldn’t the patient and family look to other none FDA approved treatments. To know that you tried everything possible on earth give family if all fails no regrets of why didn’t we do this or that.

Just my personal feelings here , just a very very tough situation

I think what OCCC is saying is how do you know the university and John Hopkins are looking into it? It is just some random guy posting that on a forum.

I can't read it because it is behind a paywall. Does it actually show proof that those parties are investigating it? Or is it just some random guys anecdotes.

Scientists publish results of oncological studies behind the paywalls of Oklahoma football fan sites, and then leave phone numbers for people to buy dog dewormers. It’s totally legit.

Harley is a guy everyone forgot about.

Kid will play here.

Feel like Harley's career will go a lot like Berrios'. Both are small, fast, shifty, die-hard 'Canes, always the underdog. Both had/have serious talent ahead of them. Both get praised for their work ethic.

Berrios, in one season, secured his place among legends. Would love to see Harley do the same.
