Why I’m starting to really like Mike Harley more each day. **UPDATE** (EDIT: Malik Rosier showing his heart and leadership)

We have to give a ton of credit to Malik Rosier.

As the current presumed starter it’s good to see him showing not only a good heart, but the leadership in taking the lead in getting the drive to Tampa organized, as mentioned in a previous post referencing a Miami Herald article.

Miami Herald: A teen with brain cancer has a wish. Hurricanes' QB Malik Rosier wants to fulfill it.
“Canes quarterback Malik Rosier is planning to drive to the Tampa hospital, and recruit as many teammates as he can, to meet with Quintero, who has glioblastoma multiforme brain cancer, in person.”

Read more here: A teen with brain cancer has a wish. Hurricanes' QB Malik Rosier wants to fulfill it.

So he has also been on top of this like Mike, as well as other Hurricanes apparently.

Let’s give credit where credit is due. Malik is due plenty.

I'm hoping they can put this together.

(3) very emotional topics over the last couple days here on CIS that brings everything back down to earth , all were much needed to be shared with all we do each day in selfish things , I know I needed to read all three.

Thank you all (3) OP in sharing so we all can take what's needed from them all to be better a little bit people over all.

What he said...I think, anyway people need to take a deep breath, this new unbridled desire to hate everyone and be ****ed off is out of control. I'm guilty myself, must be the heat.

****. I'm straight up leaking from the face into my chicken salad sandwich.

**** cancer. Especially when it comes after kids.

Like Harley, kid can fly, he will make some plays here at some point

Like to see what a 4 x 100 of Thomas, Lingard, Harley and AR (or another guy) could put up
What the f'uck?

You do realize that this thread has absolutely nothing to do with football, right? This kid is fighting cancer and you are talking about track and field. **** man!

Sad for his family and him in particular. Good story, those trying to make some dreams come true.

I try to avoid posting personal stuff, but I’ve spent time some time at different children’s cancer wards/hospitals in Florida, and one out of state.

I can tell you there is nothing more heartbreaking but yet inspiring at the same time.

When you see the courage and positive attitude these kids have in person, how happy they can be in spite of their circumstances and yes, pain sometimes, it changes your overall outlook.

Shoutout to the care providers in these units. It takes an emotional toll on them as well as the patients and parents, of course. The nurses, oncologists, and other healthcare providers deal with it every single day. Not easy.
