Why doesn't Lane kiffin have head coach job?

Well Willingham got another HC job after failing at ND so not necessarily....

I also assume that corch Charlie Strong will get another HC job after he goes 5-7 again at Texas this year.

Both were successful at their previous stops and proved themselves. Strong killed it at UL and Willinghham had Stanford strong before he departed for ND. Both programs were a mess before they arrived. Kiffin was given multiple HC jobs without proving a thing.

Stop it. Dominated the AAC. UL was dead after Bobby Petrino left. Guy lost like a combine 2 games his last 2 years at UL. He was proven and killed it there.
 
I personally think Kiffin is trash but it'd be hilarious if it came out that Lil Nicky badmouthed him to any schools that'd even want to interview the punk as a head coach. I could absolutely see Saban doing that just out of desire for continuity on his staff. I mean when the OC at mighty Alabamy can't even sniff an interview at Syracuse....

A top 3 recruiter, and his "failures" at USC have been overstated. He took over a situation very similar to what Butch did here, and when he got fired he had almost the exact same record as Butch did at that same point (1 game difference).

He was probably too inexperienced at the time to be a major HC at the time, but the years under Saban will do him well.

USC was his THIRD head coaching job. Do a little research first before posting.

Because if you can't win at USC/Miami, where ARE you gonna win at?
 
You would think being under Saban has enabled him to absorb some of his teaching methods with that being said lane kiffin has without a doubt excelled at being an offensive coordinator and he is an elite recruiter. Some school is going to take a chance on him again. If it came down to it and Mark richt and Butch Davis wasn't the candidates for the job there are not many others I wanted over Lane kiffin ESPECIALLY Mario cristobal...

First of all Cristobal wasn't even considered. It was only people like Dennis Dodd who were throwing him out as a name.

Secondly who cares if Kiffin is better than awful people like Cristobal, Schiano or Strong?

So being "under" Saban and "absorbing" is the key....
By that logic Bobby Williams must be the best HC candidate in history.
