2022 injuries: citizen, arroyo, zion, smith, X, TVD (not going to include the shoulders that got worked on in the offseason). I'm sure I could find all of the others who missed games like Campbell getting "hurt" in warm-ups but what is the point?

2023 injuries:
Harrell, Deen, Mesidor - prior to season/pre-existing injury
Citizen, Arroyo, Zion, Smith - still recovering
Kelly - missed an FCS game and played some yesterday
Kam - held out for precaution against Temple
Lee - held out for precaution against Temple in the 2nd half

I have seen overreactions after a game. But this is right up there with the best of them.

Lots of people saying "Football is physical..." That's not a sufficient answer IMO. I will say this;

In each game this season, the Canes were the more physical team. We were notably more physical than TAMU, who we did not have a size advantage over. When you play a physical brand of ball, more guys get dinged up. That's why depth is a priority for an approach like this.

D$ posted a snippet from the post game interview with Miami of Ohio's head coach. He said that the Canes beat his team up pretty good. That's a direct source data point.

Mother of God there’s not even a lot of people hurt. Lee and Parrish are fine. Fletcher and Kelly are back. Kam should be back for Ga Tech. Arroyo and Zion have been hurt for like the last 84 years.

That just leaves Deen and Mesidor.

In order to be more physical on Saturdays you have to be physical during the week which gets guys banged up.

As we get into our conference games these "banged up" players you will see on the field. As the significance of games increases you will see less caution.

Just trying to understand. Seems like we did last year as well. Is it bad luck? Conditioning of key areas?

Are all Teams this unlucky??

If we loose another couple of key players against GT, we're going to be in deep **** and our season may be at risk!!
