Why do people think Al is a good recruiter?

Name me a coach who got every elite S. Fla player. Jimmy? Nope. Butch? Nope.

Golden's done a good job recruiting. That's about the only thing he's done well to date. Those who say otherwise don't know ****.

Jimmy/Butch hit at a higher percent on who they recruited. They actually developed talent here. They knew how to place the kids they did hit on how to make them successful by placing them in the right scheme for their talent.

Golden isn't good, he may be decent, but with his lack of skill at X's and O's, he needs to be good to great to get us to the NC.

No one wants to hear it, but dude has done a **** good job of recruiting under the cloud. The fact that he was able to hold onto as many kids as he was, during a time when every single school out there was negatively recruiting against us, illustrates this.

Player development and game-planning for your talent is another issue altogether. But Al did a **** good job of recruiting during a tough time. The 2015 class is a little worrisome on the D side, but we'll see how thing pan out in Feb.

Right except last year with no cloud he flopped, and this year he's pulling another uninspiring class again.

Last year we had a top-15 class, and so far we have another top 15 class lined up for this coming year.

That ain't exactly "flopping", considering we've sucked for so long on the field.

Please. It's easy as **** to recruit here. Randy Shannon has the personality of a wet fart and he pulled some really good classes here. I'm not impressed by what Golden has done relative to what he should have done recruiting wise.

Randy's classes weren't so great as they were mostly flops and he TOTALLY ignored great programs like Central which has lingering effects. He focused on Booker T and Northwestern and virtually nobody else in Dade county.

Whatever you think about Golden's recruiting, one thing is undeniably true: there is enough talent on the current roster to win 10+ games this year. Poor coaching is why Miami is bad, not a talent deficiency.

**** o ca say golden is ignoring miami northwestern since he missed on cooper and bridgewater but forgot...miami didn't need those guys. Same with the guys from booker t Miami failed to get.
