Why a dual threat QB spread offense is BAD for Miami

Why can't you run spread and develop guys for the league? The NFL is largely spread these days anyways.

Urban Meyer runs a unique offense that isn't seen in the NFL yet OSU has zero problem putting guys in the league, recruiting, or winning titles.

The object of football is to score the most points. If running a spread with a duel threat QB scores the most points then that is what we should run. People laughed last year when I said Trevon Boykin was better than Kaaya. Well if we had someone with his mobility and QB skills we would win the National Championship this year. Apparently to our fans it is more important that we have a 1st round QB then actually win a college football game. Oh and Kaaya isn't first round material and Boykin is in the NFL.
