The way the pants-shytting has gone on around here these days...probably the ghost of Ray Lucas.
 
I'm going with the darkhorse Williams. Spring enrollee and to me looks more ready in HS tape than Perry did.
 
Williams looks more college ready than Perry did, but Perry has been here a longer. Perry has all the physical tools, but no one has a clue how he’s progressing with the mental aspect. I do believe it will come down to one of those two.

High school players who have never taken a division one snap are always better than the players who have been playing and practicing at the college level.

I mean, all you have to do is watch a 7-minute youtube video to make such an informed decision. If he sucks on the field, especially after one or two games, he should be benched and every coach should be fired because they did not coach up that player to meet my expectations.

I hate it, but have to agree, especially after reading that Perry admission article the other day regarding film study and being a system guy, etc. I hope Perry is spending every waking moment studying the playbook and film...so much physical talent there.

For all we know, Williams could be exactly the same.
 
I would say even if the competition is neck and neck, you have to go with Perry

No sense in wasting another season with Rosier when he's clearly not the answer

Loved the kid's heart and grit this past year, but we need to look to the future

He has a lot better shot than Sheriffs. Sheriffs seems to be the only one I would rule out completely. Weldon should of been in the list.

My guess would be Perry right now but I wouldn't rule out any of Rosier, Perry, Weldon, or Williams.

Also Rosier already beat out all but one of them last year.

Edit: Or Rosier at that. If he wanted to transfer, you would think he would've done it when Richt told him "You'll probably never start for me".

Rosier put his chips in squaring off against a freshman who didn't enroll early. His odds of starting here last year were bigger than any other place, plus having to sit out a year. Now he can grad transfer. Totally different worlds.

Weldon doesn't win the job why wouldn't he leave? He's got Perry in front of him and a potential superstar in Williams (who's EE) who could jump him and even Perry.
