I'm shocked how many people are dismissing Rosier. Senior leadership and I think he did pretty **** good. You have to remember that he had his best targets hurt the final two games.

It's the opposite of popular, but I think Rosier improves just like he did last off-season, elevates his accuracy and decision making to passable levels, and wins the job. If not it's gonna be a dogfight between Weldon, Williams, and Perry, with Perry having a slight lead because he's Richt's handpicked guy. Sheriffs is the one guy that's out. Fall of 2017 was his shot, and he wasn't up to the test.

If the question was who do you want starting, my answer is probably different.

Rosier, despite the woes, is probably the favorite.

Rosier himself admittedly just started watching film about a year and a half ago. He also had to learn a new system this past year. It was also apparent that Richt had to simplify the offense some to accommodate Rosier. Not sure he really has a significant leg up.

Perry's RS this year should have given him some time to catch up and I think he is the more talented of the two. I say Perry will separate himself based on talent and 1 year of tutelage under his belt. But Rosier will be a solid back-up. Williams will redshirt. Weldon may start in the doghouse so has to make up a lot of ground from there. Sheriffs should probably transfer.

I think his ceiling has been hit, and every team we face knows it. He's done.

Richt hand picked Perry. He wanted Perry to start but Perry just didn't have enough time to learn playbook. Richt has been around long enough to know that if he had started Perry before he was ready it could have ruined the kid. Perry has been attached to Richt's hip all season. He knows playbook.

98.5% Perry starts
1% chance Williams surprises and starts,
.5% chance Rosier starts if Perry and Williams get mono after drinking from same soda can.
