Ole Miss was a lot better than people think. I think they are 1A and 1B with Indiana.
We played like crap against them and still won, but I agree that their scheme was the scariest to prepare for.Unpopular opinion but Ole Miss, I wasnt as nervous during a game vs anyone as much as I was of them. I for sure thought we lost that game.
Its the flip side of the Indiana game, Beck leads a GW drive vs throws a pick. Funny enough i kept telling my buddy during the Ole mIss game that Beck was going to cost us and throw a pick on the last drive.
Well ****….then it’s obviousI’ve heard people say different things so I’m curious.
The easy answer is Indiana but we had three losses and didn’t play as well in the losses as we did in some of the wins.
“Were” being the key word. But we did not play our best football against Indiana. Too slow to adjust on offense, bad penalties, soft coverage in the first half allowed them to keep our defense on the field and bad special teams. We were playing our best football when Indiana beat us. They were the only team in that playoff run that we couldn’t bully in the trenches.
ThisIndiana and Notre Dame.
Really can’t say much moreIndiana the best overall, no one was more prepared or better coached.
Ohio State was the most talented.
Ole Miss had the best scheme in regard to offense and ability to put up points.
