Bingo... rather play these types of games and know who we areI have zero issues scheduling these games. Miami was built off these type of games. The issue isn’t the schedule, the issue is the idiots running the AD.

Nothing to lose but recruiting interest, a top 15 ranking, team confidence… dude there is nothing to be gained facing a team that is clearly going to embarrass you.Miami has everything to gain and nothing to lose playing Bama. Losing to Bama did nothing to this program because everyone expected it. Now, if we beat Bama then that’s a program changer! Not to mention, playing this game did give us far more exposure than it would have playing FAMU.
What is your point? Miami shouldn’t try to compete for titles because 4-5 other programs are cheating their *** off?
We get in pillow fights with freakin acc teams yearly, who sat there and said hey its a good idea to play bama when we cheap as **** and hire corches for fun, not committed to building a real program and just in general from top we dont give a single ****..
Hey lets play bama tho.. fml..
Especially if we get five downs now and then.I vote we schedule Tulane, looks like an easy W
It’s not a matter of trying. It’s a matter priorities and resources. What is your point? Miami shouldn’t try to compete for titles because 4-5 other programs are cheating their *** off?
For the last 15 years, Miami has recruited and developed more NFL players than all of the Coastal teams and has managed to win only 1 Coastal title. That’s practically the definition of incompetence. Your resource argument is only valid to a degree. Miami should be far more successful than what we have been for nearly two decades.Where did I say anything about cheating? The post is about resource allocation. In this sport you are allowed to spend as much as you feel is necessary on your football program. In this landscape one can easily see how a small private university with limited resources can be at a huge disadvantage compared to state schools. MIA became a relevant national program during a time, when there was much greater parity in the sport. How else do you think the program managed to maintain independent status?
So when you try to frame the issue as mere incompetence, from MIAs perspective, you're failing to acknowledge the profound ways in which CFB has evolved in the last 40 yrs.
I don't think Georgia / LSU / Clemson / Alabama are richer than any other university.Did it ever occur to you that maybe this is a different era in CFB? Where the disparity in resource allocation between a handful of teams, and everyone else, is more pronounced today than it has ever been in the history of the sport.
Remember 58-0? We still have the same issues, though maybe to a slightly lesser degreeWow I hope you have not procreated. You must be a cuck. You play the best to be the best not to play in the “Pinstripe Bowl”. You must have a man bun. Let us be exposed and fix our issues.
Semper Canes!!!
they don't want to hear it. They like to complain and talk about firing everyone. There's nothing to be gained by having a revolving door of coaches every couple of years.Where did I say anything about cheating? The post is about resource allocation. We just gave Temple $6 million for this **** without interviewing a single candidate. Don’t lecture me about resources when Miami has enough resources to be successful.
Uhh we have nothing to lose if the coaching staff puts together a good game plan and we at least make the game interesting, but getting blown out and not belonging on that stage does hurt us. You think today’s game helped recruiting ? SmhMiami has everything to gain and nothing to lose playing Bama. Losing to Bama did nothing to this program because everyone expected it. The difference is they have a deeply entrenched bag game and football is life to them.
