To me this is like being between a rock and a hard place. Feagles more capable of kicking a high non returnable punt but more likely to shank one.

Spicer. I'll take consistency all day every day.

We have the better team, so as long as the punter doesn't LOSE us the game, I think we're good.

Ask yourself this - which punter, Feagles or Spicer, is more likely to ***** up and lose us the game?

It's a tough question, because if Spicer puts no hangtime in his punt and allows for an easy return like he did against UNC, with how bad our coverage is with everything in ST, it could be worse.

What good is 40 yards/punt if you allow over 15 yards/return and the possibility of a touchdown?

But Feagles shanks 1 in 3 punts. Kid gets nervous in live action, and bites it big time. Question: if the kid is getting nerves and shanking punts against Savannah State, what's he gonna do in front of a madhouse like at the UM/FSU game? Could get ugly.

Based on what Ive seen (having never seen these mythical 4000 yard punts that Feagles punts everyday in practice), I would continue to start Spicer. He performed satisfactorily against UNC. Feagles has already had 16 starts to show something.... ****, anything, yet has not.

We better tighten our protection the **** up and stop playing around and get something blocked. That's how a **** bird team like FSU hangs around; blocking kicks and starting at their 45

The blocking as been crap all year on punts and fgs

This is probably an underrated topic. We lost the LSU game because LSU was basically playing arena football against us. They only needed like 25 yards to get points be it a TD or FG. If FSU is constantly starting drives at their 45 or better that will definitely keep the game close just ask Pitt last year.

If Feagles on that same BS he is going to get boo'd to oblivion.

We don't know the answer to that, Spicer hasn't played much.

But ESPN told us we can't boo our punter.

When I read the reports of these booming punts on the practice field...I feel like I am back in college reading Homer.

Feagles
15 punts net ave 33.8
Spicer
3 punts net ave 31.3

Just about a wash but Spicer has a much smaller sample size .

I go by net ave because that is what counts

My biggest concern on this team every game.
