Who on this board wanted Mendoza to transfer to the U?

Mendoza definitely won the debate, his play surpassed my expectations of him by a mile. My biggest issue with him remains however; I just can't stand the guy's personality. Even when he was at Cal, I couldn't get through 1/3 of an interview. His hyper-nerded out LinkedIn energy just kills me.

I don’t know much about football details, just a spectator, but several have said in the past that he’s a system qb. Would he have done as well in this system? Do we run a much different offensive scheme than Indiana does?

I don’t think this what-if game is healthy because he did well there, we did well here with Beck, it is what it is!
 
I just need to say that Ariz wearing a god**** Columbus jacket on today’s pod in some weird celebration of the qb of the team we are about to play for a national championship is the most pathetic, cuck (I’m not a 45 year old conservative, I don’t use this loosely), anti-Miami **** I’ve ever seen.

I can care less about personality, unless your a total selfish beotch which he is not. I need a QB not a spokesperson. He is an excellent QB with great arm talent, accurate and he finds the right guy. That said I'm fine where we are riding with Beck for this game. Both QBs did their job of getting to the Natty game. Question is who shines on the 19th.

If he flamed out in the NFL, well, then, we can laugh about it then.

For the record, IMO, Mendoza is a replica of Kirk Cousins. I see him being very good in the NFL.

I think stuff like that matters. Yes, winning is #1 but I would struggle to see that personality with our team.

Becks first order of business was to identify #10 as his guy, and work on dappin' him up. Mendoza would do the same, but it would be Mike Norvell creepy motivational messages.

Your comment specifically mentioned something about him being the first pick in the draft and was a response to someone saying he’s not an elite talent.

Trying to dunk on people for saying/liking a comment that he’s not an elite talent then saying you think he’s Kirk Cousins is….something.
