Who left more talent for the next coach..

hard to tell with how bad the coaching staffs were. randy was offensively challenged and golden was defensively challenged. i'd give the nod to Golden even with a few units lacking depth.
 
Golden in a rout. He was a bum as a coach but he did upgrade the roster significantly from where we were in 2011. The next coach will have a much easier path IMO.

Considering Shannon actively sabotaged the recruiting class the year he was fired, it's Golden in a landslide.
 
Golden hands down even if we didn't have brad.


Outside of offensive line the team is stacked nxt yr. AQM and Thomas at ends on an attacking 43 defense.... n juwon young is going to be legit
 
Next years team is pretty stacked with DL talent:

DE: Thomas, AQM, Jackson, Harris, Patchan
DT: Jenkins, Norton, Willis, Moten, McIntosh

OL and CB are a mess. LB isn't much better.

Obviously need to get some elite athletes at RB and WR. TE is in good shape.
 
Kaaya, Walton, Yearby, Gus, Gray, Njuko, Brady, Coley don't if **** stay, Cager, St. Louis, oline needs an anchor
Chad, Norton, AQM, Jackson, Trent, Willis, Jenkins, Moten, Owens, Gayot, Young, JJ, Elder don't know if **** stay, Carter, secondary depth will be an issue.

With the players we have committed to the Program, we definitely aren't hurting

There are LB's coming in that can make an immediate impact if the new coach is hired and can re-recruit these guys. Shaq and McCloud can make a day 1 impact.
 
Shannon left a lot more talent than people give him credit for. Fatso squandered it and threw them under the bus, but there was plenty of talent.
 
Golden its not even close....

The worst part is shannon left sanctions and no players shannon completely ruined this program
