Who is the best coach on each side of the ball at UM?

Vinny Scavo is the best staff member. On offense to me it's Brennan Carroll. Up until last year B. Carroll didn't have a ton of talent to work with, but he is a a great motivator on the sidelines, and seems to be well respected. On defense Williams and Barrow are both pretty good. I will give the edge to Barrow because his group has the most strenuous task on the field, and most ground to cover. I'm not gonna fault him for not developing Gaines, Cornelius, Paul, and Armbrister.

Most of these coaches have been dealing with a severe lack of talent combined with an NFL type defensive scheme. To rush to judgement isn't fair just yet. I agree with MizCane. This year will say a lot.

Excuse imo. Frank Beamer's staff used to take unknowns, develop them, and control the ACC. A lack of alent doesn't excuse poor tackling, bad angles, questionable physicality, etc. especially when more than half of the defense is doing it.

Hard to say. We have no one that really stands out unless its recruiting.

I'd have to go Brennan Carroll and Paul Williams.

Which one of these chicks is hotter?

if i had to answer this question without vomitting....i'd say the one without the braces, my twanga can't get caught up in the railroad tracks

We have one of the worst coaching staffs in NCAA

AG- decent coach. Hasn't proved jack here yet. Right on par with Randy's w/l column

Coley- didn't do jack at FIU. Has had only one season here. Jury is still out

NoD- name says it all. Nuf said. Needs to go

Keho- unimpressed in 3 seasons. Needs to go

BC- decent at best

Scott- solid and relatively young

Hurlie- he should not be coaching RB. Have you seen how many times we've fumbled since Terry Richardson left?

Jethro- god awful. Needs to go

BArrow- decent. Developed Spence and DP... No one else.

DBs- It's probably more of a fuction of our scheme, but the DBs have developed decently

Swasey - awful! Needs to go.

Barrow sucks. Probably the worst coach on the staff.

LMAO@ "developing" Spence and DP, two dudes that came out of the womb playing LB

BINGO! Underperforming for YEARS! We give this dude a pass because he's family, but he sucks- plain and simple. Add insult to injury, he's not even that great of a recruiter either.......

I really can't believe someone picked Barrow. His LBs are grossly out of position since he got here. He has coached under 2 HCs that got their starts coaching LBs. Miami has always been known for LBs until Barrow came

***** YOU GAYTURD

You think you're real slick trolling the board with your BS question.

Go back to your shanty!!

Williams on Defense
If Coley was here longer, it would be him. But Right now Larry Scott on Offense.

Frank Beamer and his staff (namely Bud Foster) have been together forever. They have a formula for success that they have been putting to use for a long time. They haven't had to deal with big changes or anything like that. They have excellent continuity nearly every year. Continuity helps you do those things you talked about.
