Stats are not the only criteria that matters when deciding who gets in. They also vary greatly depending on which era you play in, so it's not fair to compare players of this era to players who played many decades ago. Things like super bowls, all-pro teams, and pro bowls matter just as much as stats.

Agree stats are not the only criteria , Lynn Swann had 336 career receptions but few would argue that he is a HOF receiver.

A couple more good seasons and Jimmy Graham is going to be in this discussion. His stats are actually better right now than some of the oldhead TEs that are already in and are almost identical to Gronk's.

JG is interesting. I was thinking about him when I opened this thread. His greatness may have been cut short due to injury, but he was the GOAT up until his injury.

My personal opinion is if you are the greatest (or one of) during your career you are a HOF'r. I think he should get in someday.

Almost comparable to Hester. Yeah you weren't a great skill position player but man you're the greatest return man of your time and maybe ever. Hester won't be first ballot but he may get in someday.

I'm a Panthers fan. Olsen is very, very good - but it's the Hall of Fame. He's not at that level.

5 modern era, 10 senior, 3 contributors, 2 coaches. What if: Chuck Foreman, Edgerrrin and Reggie all got in the same year? It's unlikely but man that would be awesome
