Being off the wagon and thinking our coaching staph sucks are two completely different things
I thought it was a well fought game, with tons of mistakes by a young group. Seeing the responses here is sad, and I'd love to just have a nice record of where the negative folks stand so we can revisit at year end and maybe the end of next year. It's game 1. This is not Al Golden obvious poor coaching game 1, this is no OL recruiting leaving the new staff with a hot mess game 1.
If you feel that strongly about the staff, let's get it on record for when you try to jump back on the wagon. I'm sure I'll get the down vote from many, but I'll take those as confirmation of where you stand.
Fake punt, agree. The other two, agree to disagree
I posted a poll and less than 11% of well over 200 responders are taking the loss with doom and gloom, or worse. Some are quite adamant or vocal, but there really doesn't seem to be that "many" jumping off the wagon, in actuality, at CIS, anyway. Maybe "cautious optimism" is the main feeling around?
Yeahhhh..those are definitely not my quotes.. and the argument about the oline has never been about the guys talent, it was about the guys coaching them. That’s fact dawg.Everyone knows this. This is not some sort of breakthrough you came up with.
That said, I told you a million times that Rich sucks at recruiting the OL. That was always his issue with Georgia. Like I said, Kirby recruited more blue chips in 2 years than Richt did in his entire career at OL.
You kept saying "don't worry Richt will handle it, we don't need blue chips because the scouting services don't know as much as Richt". Look where that left us. With a worse OL than what Golden had.
This subhuman screen shotted his own hot take. Jesus we need the end times soon.
So if the whole team is consistently dropping passes you aren't going to blame the WR coach? Having your players mentally prepared is on the coach.

You're just looking to blame the staff because it's the cool thing to do around here. I must of missed where the whole team muffed a punt. Is it Patke's fault Baxa missed a 20 yard FG?
Punt and kick coverage were good
I was basically agreeing with you on Richt and his misses on the OL. But I just mentioned TK because it seems like even though Richt is gone the OL misses is continuing. I never liked the hiring of Richt to begin with. Too low key for a coach in Miami. Miami is about attitude. JJ had it, Butch had it, Schnellenberger had it and those guys were successful. Erickson had nice teams left to him to coach but he hated recruiting and it ended his career here along with his inability to handle these kids from getting in trouble. Corker, Randy and AG was just down right pathetic.I didn't mention TK or the portal at all in my post. So I am not sure where you are going with that. I am just saying Richt sucked at building an OL and that rang true eve back in UGA, with the bags. Like I said, Kirby landed more blue chips in 2 years at OL than Richt did in his entire career.
No one gives a **** about your takes. Who the **** copies and pastes tweets from their own accounts? Get bent.

You know a lot of ppl on this board and in or fan base thought oh if run a spread or different looks or put guys in motion it would help the oline..my concern has always been about the oline since last year. I do think our guys are talented so I’m not knocking the recruiting aspect so much. They are just young and inexperienced. I’ll say this tho, I don’t agree and never did about starting Zion at LT. I like his tools but it’s impossible and unfair to think he is game ready at this stage in his career
No, I am not blaming the staff because its the "cool thing to do". When your men make simple errors that is on the coach. It is also on the player obviously, but when multiple players make stupid mistakes it is clearly a preparation issue. If you have never worked in any sort of managerial position you wouldn't understand it.
The fumbled punt and missed kick are
100% player
0% coach
Both guys been here and done that for a while now as veterans and it should come automatic as catch and kick. What else the coach suppose to do?The fumbled punt and missed kick are
100% player
