Who is going to the GT game?

I know it's not this weekend, but I want to know which of you ****ers I'm taking shots with in the parking lot (do they have a blue lot?) before the game. I've never seen the Canes lose in Atlanta. I was there in 04, 10, 12. I missed 06, 08 and 14. So, they will win this year. I'm in section 129 row 3. I know in 2004 we had over 10,000. It's been down every year since, but we usually have 5-7,000 Canes fans there, so I except a good showing. Not like this.....

Where you literally cannot see a freakin gold shirt, but I did have a couple GT fans tell me that Miami brings more fans to GT than any other school not named Georgia, Clemson or Auburn.

Here is a pic from 2014. They did a whiteout, so you can clearly see Miami fans. There are also Miami fans in the big endzone seating not pictured.

Atlanta might as well be the Gables man. So many Canes fans up here. I'll be there sec 131.

Is the bet on the game or the knockout punch? Anyhow you boys enjoy your trip. Go Canes!

I'll be there and bringing four other people with me. First time going to Atlanta for a game..where do most of the cane fans tailgate at?

Friday, 630pm at Dantannas Downtown. pep rally with former Cane greats Melvin Bratton, Lorenzo Smokey Roan, Chris Hobbs and Isaiah West and a special visit by Sebastian the Ibis and the Miami Hurricane Cheerleaders

Saturday tailgate - WILL BE AT THE AT&T PARKING DECK ON 3rd Street and Spring Street. There are two AT&T parking decks. Be sure to go to the TOP of the 3rd Street Deck.

Check out Miami Hurricanes Atlanta and AtlantaCanes for more info on Facebook.

This is the best tailgate at GT. You can see into the stadium form the top of the parking deck.

Thank you! What time does the Saturday tailgate start? What is the setup going to be like? We can bring plenty of booze but since we are all flying in, we won't have much else. Also, are there any alcohol restrictions on Saturdays in Fulton County? Will we have any trouble buying beer and liquor early Saturday morning?

Thanks in advance. sorry for discussing this in an additional thread

Some counties have an 'after 11/12' rule, but in my experience that only applies to Sundays. LEOs know it its tailgating, so you wont get into any trouble with alcohol unless you are walking down the streets in Atlanta. They usually say to keep it in the lot where you are.

PLenty of tents, flags, and Hurricanes at nearly every spot you'll find tailgaters for the game. I havent been to the AT&T lot before. But the Wells Fargo lot and The Varsity get packed.

Tailgate will probably begin at 8 am. There are always early risers for a nooner.

Atlanta Marriott Marquee is good. You'll be in the center of DOwntown and within walking distance/$5 Uber trip from a lot of stuff. If you want to be closer to the Dantannas for the Pep Rally on Friday night then look up 'hotels near the CNN Center' on GOogle. Havent stayed at any myself so I cant give a personal recommendation.
