Based on this season, I'm not seeing it. If Richt can win the ACC next season and get into the playoffs that might change.

Who else sees Richt in Miami 10-20 years? Please come forward and share your thoughts.

Thanks CoRch Richt.

You might as well pick another team to follow. He's going to be our coach for a long time.

Been a fan for 30+ years and Richt won't be here a long time if he keeps underachieving.

LOL you are a dumbass . He is here for at least 10 years and probably closer to 20. WE are in a better place today then we have been since 2004.

If he goes 8-4 every year with an occasional 9 or 10 win season, he'll be here as long as he wants to be.

you guys over estimate our talent and prior coaching staff. we won 6 games with duke johnson. 6 pathetic games. best all around player miami has had and we won 6 games. it takes idiocy to achieve that result.

brad looked like garbage during the 4 game losing stretch and looked much better in the last four games. what changed? did the coaches not tell brad to get the ball out quick, make reads and run for first downs until November?

our defense with garbage safeties and 3 freshman linebackers gave up less than 20 points per game. florida gave up how much to FSU?

season is disappointing but you guys are acting like things would be that much different if we were 10-2 and got our **** kicked in by clemson. you'd all come out of the woodwork to moan and complain how richt never wins the big game and spin these pedo ESPN story lines while fluffing up paul finebaum.

Why do people worry about the next 20 years, when the concern should be winning our first bowl game in 10 years, finishing strong in recruiting, and getting ready to have a 2017 in which we win, at least, the Coastal.

I'm not a Rick basher (even though I think he screwed up our middle 4 games), but right now, I could honestly give a fūck where he is in 10 or 20 years. The immediate concern is taking this bit of optimism from the last 4 games and rolling it into a bowl win and a much better 2017.

OP is a racist. Has nothing but praise for S. Coley despite leading the team in penalties but jabs at CMR at every turn.

Not 20 years, but I think ten. If Richt is here for 20 years he will be 76 when he retires

I don't know how long he'll be here, but it'll be for as long as he wants to be. So pace yourself. You don't want to go Tough Man Contest and gas yourself out in the first year.

I'm not happy with the results either, but given the string of incompetence over the last 15 years in both coaching and recruiting I think it is a little premature to write off his entire regime as a corching fest in the making.

We lost 3 games by 1, 7 and 3. Small changes to the offense (NO MORE RPO) and sure up the offensive line and this offense can be elite if we get some guys back. Despite the ****** play, Kaaya still about to throw for 3800 and 25+ TDs. Continue to develop our run game and we can be dangerous. On defense, I expect to absolutely crush everyone up front next year. No excuses. Need some guys to step up in the secondary and we are a top 15-20 defense. We should win the conference next year if we get guys back with what everyone else is losing. If not, it's a failure. Probably will have 18 returning starters back if Kaaya and Njoku return. Build from there

If Dalvin Cook commited to Al Golden and played at the U. Al Golden would still be our coach.

This will come down to recruiting. Can Richt identify players who will develop quickly in college and then develop them correctly. And not settle for all the late bloomers (Al Golden style). And can he find above average to great QBs during his tenure.

Nick Saban, Butch Davis, Jimmy Johnson they aren't the best X & O's guys. They are the best scouts, developers and motivators. They landed and developed the players who could make plays in big games regardless of the playcall.

If Richt can get the generational players like Cook then he will be at Miami a long time and rack up and a ton of meaningful wins.

Pretty much this.
