Who do you want to see more in ACC play?

Defensively Keionte Scott legit may not have come out for a single snap with starting unit in all year. We need to get a lil development at nickel going... Obiously the EDGEs need a little more rotation. LB definitely needs more rotation. CB rotation has been very good imo. Safety rotation has been good as well, though I'd like to see Pruitt get reps at some point in Thomas' role. DT rotation has been pretty good. As we get further into ACC play I'd like to see Justin Scott earn more reps. I think Blounts already playing enough so that's good. I guess just a few more Snaps for Simpson/Jones/Russell, but nothing crazy. I would like to just in general sub like one young guy in at a time with the starting unit when on our side of the field and have a lead... Get them so good experience as if that starter just left with an injury type deal when it isn't just a blowout or something and all the backups are in.

Offensively I just want to keep seeing more explosive pass plays. I really hope we stop getting too cute with how we use lyle and how we keep slowing games down running condensed formations just to run it up the middle. Like It feels like with Lyle we just run outside and it's a tell. I think Fletcher has been the best RB this year so far, but I'd like to see more Pistol. Just in general our Run game is possibly one of the least creative in the country I'd bet. I want to see less Bauman too. Schott should get some more reps. Lofton should maybe get targeted further than 1 yard down field... LIke everyone Else I'd like to see Trader+Moore rotating with Marrion more often. Just the most important thing to me Is I want more explosive plays on Offense and to clean up the offensive penalties.

Oh also one thing I'd love to see at this point

Toney at QB with Fletcher (or Lofton) and Lyle at RB, and run some speed/triple option and a couple Play Action passes off of it with Lofton+Schott at TE

IDGAF, it'd cook. And I'd trust Toney with the ball in his hands making good decisions.

Beck showing off his skills with a dynamic passing game. TE’s to improve. Jojo, Lofton and Lyle are the ones who could take this offense to the next level.

Defensively I’m curious if we have options behind Thomas and Scott. Who knew how important that would be.
Hope to take some of the load off of them while developing others. That goes for all the defensive positions really.

I’ve made like 5 posts about it and a poster above me mentioned it. Toney reverse where throws a pass. Or even a wildcat. Something where he’s a threat to throw or run.

Young D Line when the game is in hand. Give me the whole front six/seven phased in if we can.

Edit: six/seven

Lightfoot on running downs, not just the third down packages. He's earned it from ST's play and the package reps. Also wouldnt mind seeing Kinsler get his feet wet with some real game action and not just vs the Bethune's. Lyle and Trader should be no brainer's, you can never go wrong with adding more explosiveness. Pruitt and Bryce as well

Want to see us not let off the gas on offense and finish it off in the 3rd quarter - turn a game into a true blowout.

Instead of going conservative in the 4th and milking clock, throw in the backups and let them play and keep airing it out and running the actual system.
Me too…but there is merit to what Dawson said, and that falls on coaching. Stupid penalties, and lackadaisical play once we are up. Holding, shanked punt, huge cushion for receivers…conservative play calling…it was terrible.

Sorry, but when you have a collection of slack like the 4th quarter the other night…that is a coaching fix that needs to happen.

I want to believe Mario identified it and will address it. Notre shame up 21-7 when “we weren’t supposed to be” is one thing…this is now a pattern.

I don’t believe this is a believing their own press clippings hype thing…this is a thing that still needs to be fixed. How do you get it into their heads that it is 0-0 when you are up 3+ TDs…tough **** that separates great coaches from good coaches.

This is my personal opinion, not based on any info of what will happen, but I'd love to see Daylyn Upshaw get some opportunities.
Ray ray. Under Mario, I don’t understand how we can’t find plays for guys like him. B Smith is playing on Sundays.

That jet Sweep and 3rd down running back is there for Ray Ray.

In addition to the ones listed above ... I would personally love to see Luke take a full quarter to see where he is at at this point in his development.

more guys other than Toney getting those really dangerous inside bubble screens. Don’t need our 18 year old superstar taking hits like that.

More playing to kill, not just to win. Nobody left on the schedule should be on the field with us. I want to see that be the case.
