Lincoln riley is the best young coach in football
Yep. Give me a guy from the Mike Leach coaching tree and without the weirdness/idiosyncrasies of Leach and you got yourself a winning coach down here.

It was always who you wanted before. NOT who you wanted that was honestly interested in the job.this has been brought up a million times now but I will play.
David Clawson, Mike Leach, David Cutcliffe, Tony Elliot, Steve Sarkisian, PJ Fleck, Sean Lewis
Oh, you aint got no love for Shemp huh?Moe, Larry, or Curly would probably have worked out better than the hires that were made over the last 15 years at Miami.
LOL ... here ya goOh, you aint got no love for Shemp huh?Couldn't resist.
This, stupidity runs rampant in the athletic dept hereThey paid 7 million for goldens buyout and didn’t have any severance pay for richt. Paid 4 million to temple for a coach who’s never been a coach
Sad but true.
I thought all you guys wanted Major Applewhite...or was that for OC? I don't remember.
And I'm asking the fan base. NOT the school.Genuine interest comes from making a call and an offer.
Thought the search closer to 6 seconds than 6 hoursHis buyout is 10 million I think which is probably why he didn't explore this option. Well that and we did a 6 hour "search"
Cristobal, that’s the type of coach Miami needed recruiting wise
I didnt have the time I needed to conduct a HC search because Blake jumped all over Manny. I would have gone with Mike Gundy though. I really wanted Richt to stay and hire Gundy's OC (Yurcich), but Richt was incapable of making qualified hires also. Then Ohio State snapped up Yurcich and we see what they're doing.as head coach that was interested in us? Unlike some I'm willing to give Diaz a fair shot but who did you guys want? Not the pipe dreams like Saban or Meyer but who had GENUINE interest in the job?
