Who covers Rashad Greene?

Those being sent on A and B gap blitzes and DL with their hands up are the only defenders who will have significant success against him.
I'm disappointed that a secondary conosseur such as yourself passed the buck here. For sure Greene can't be shut down but I am definitely curious who you think is the best physical matchup from our guys. You definitely have an eye for that stuff.

Do we have CB's good enough to hold up in press man vs him? I've seen him abuse some CB's in man coverage

No one, mang. I'm a big Greene fan. He's pure in and out of his breaks. The style of defense we typically play is actually perfect for him. We can mix in Man-Under a bit, but then it really becomes a matter of pressure up the middle and batting down curl and hitch routes.

If I have to pick a guy on our team to shadow him, it's Elder.

I am too. Greene is our biggest obstacle in this game, not Winston IMO. Greene does so many little things that allows him to put up huge numbers. Winston literally doesn't even look when he throws to him sometimes. That's pretty tough to defend. I felt the same about Devante Freeman a little bit. So many intangibles that add up as the game wears along that go beyond the stat sheet.

Problem is you spend too much time on Greene and O'Leary can kill you. Only thing we can really do is disrupt their timing as much as possible but blitzing Winston is dangerous if you don't bring him down.

Burns best matches up with Greene both have similar measurable when it comes to height and speed. But who covers him will depend on where he lines up. Greene lines up to the field Crawford or Elder same in the slot, Greene lines up in the boundary Burns and Howard. Doubt he will be doubled covered, FSU hasn't taken to many deep shots down the sidelines with him.

oh and while we are at it, the play starts at the LOS, blow up their blocking and flush the Rapist on the bum ankle. Blitz up the gut. we need to play more man coverage than we have before. Greene is great against zone, he always gets open. You need to say Burns, this is your guy tonight. Burns is faster than Greene, Greene might be a little quicker but Artie is a tall physical corner.

Corn: play aggressive and smart or Crawford: plays tough always one step away ... Howard: to slow & Burns: doesnt look back for the ball.

a cb who turns his head around with the ball in the air with bush hanging out over the top...i say corn...but doubt he gets that job

Well what o would do isnt what tje coaches will do. Weat we will do is what we've been doing. Rotate cbs every other drive. On passing situations gunter moves back to safety. I doubt we have cbs following green to get the matchup that would be ideal. Plus we're gunna be running mostly zone anyway.
Greenes most likely gunna have a good game.
