Who’s the coach in this story? Devin Hester recruiting

Bobby Washington! Wow, that's a name from the past. He actually signed with Miami out of HS along with another stud RB from the area. Then there were some "irregularities" with his "testing" and the paperwork associated with it and he ended up leaving the program.
yup he went to NC state and then finished at Eastern Kentucky he was actualy a productive back. He ogt twins sons that will be recruits down the road.

CaneinOrlando I will respectfully disagree with you. I watched the game. Below is a link from the UM Hall of Fame that refers to him taking the opening kickoff of his freshman season to the house.

There was a LOT of anticipation about DH arriving on campus as well as when/if he would ever be able to play for us.

Doesn't matter what the link says, the UiF game was the second game of the 2003 season.

It might seem hard to believe, but the LaTech game was in Shreveport.

Thus, the Gaytor game was the first HOME game of 2003.

Hester had 2 KO returns vs Louisiana Tech...then his 3rd was the UF Opening game return....

It all fits. If Amato was sending news articles about the murder on UM campus then of course he is going to threaten a kid he won’t live to see the field. “You’ll be killed before you take a snap!”

sounds like a UF stunt. didnt they pull something on Willie Williams after he committed to miami

The DA in Gainesville (a UFag booster) released his juvenile record after he signed with Miami claiming he broke the law in Gainesville by setting off a fire extinguisher in the hotel during a recruiting visit.

Hester, Tremain Mack, and Bubba McDowell... best cane ST players we have enjoyed
I remember being 13 and having to go to a bar mitzvah when Miami played WV back in 96. Couldn’t move the ball all game, and the party started during the second half. I couldn’t believe it when my parents told me Tremain Mack’s blocked punt was returned for a TD to win it in the last minute.
