Whisky - Michigan

Won at SD, turned Stanford into the best Pac12 team, made SF good right away, got an NFL team to a SB, winning games at Michigan just not big. I think the best idea is to stick with him and keep getting great assistants, it'll work out eventually.
Strange how it hasn't clicked for him at Meechigan, but I agree. No sense in firing him unless they think they can do better. Hes recruited well. Might as well let him stay.

I had Wisconsin and laid the points. Easy money, easy money, baby!

And some of these ESPN/FOX analyst saying that Michigan was going to play Wisconsin tough. Get the FREAK' outta' here!

Paul Chryst is one of the top 5 best coaches in the business.

Michigan has the supposed to be the best DC in college football in Don Brown, an above 50% Blue Chip ratio, a roster full of future NFL players & Wisconsin is taking them behind the woodshed with an old faishoned *** whooping.

Wisconsin wins because they're so extremely well coached & disciplined that if you don't show up 100% prepared you're going to get the sh*t beat out of you, because they don't beat themselves by playing smart mistake free football.

Harbaugh is just highly overrated, he's a great recruiter, but his record vs ranked opponents since being at Mich is well below .500 & his record vs B1G rivals is something like 2-7 in 4 years (never beat Oh St & only beat Mich St once) & as a game day coach always folds up vs equal level talent teams.

People gave him waaaaayyyy too much credit for his Stanford tenure, he was only 29-21 at Stanford & people accredit him as building their program, but people forget Stanford was good even back during the Bill Walsh era & made a return to prominence under Tyrone Willingham. David Shaw has had more success at Stanford than Harbaugh had, he's 83-28 as a HC with 3 Pac-12 championships & 5 division titles, all while handing out the least amount offers of any D-1 program & still sends high caliber players to the NFL on an annual basis.

Harbaugh is overrated as a recruiter. His problem is he needs a QB and can’t find one. You would think with his background as a QB, developing Luck in college, and his NFL success QBs would like up to play for him. Nope. Why not?

Yes, he was 29-21 at Stanford but they were horrid when he arrived. 1-11 the season before. Harbaugh beat USC as a 41-point road underdog. His 11-1 team in 2010 was the best team in the program’s history.

Shaw was Harbaugh’s OC, a key contributor, and has proven to be an excellent HC, but didn’t inherit a program that hit bottom.

Thats the other side of the coin isnt it? Who are you bring in thats more competent getting over the 10-3 hump? Another Brady Hoke type is what they'd end up with.

Lol they're in Texas and have always had great coaching just don't ***** it up and play some defense
TCU has always had Great coaching??...FOH with that nonsense...Gary Patterson has done more with less than ANY coach in america for the last 7yrs....Done it with hand me downs from Texas...Baylor...A&M..etc...
JJ told Shalala to hire him in 07...and the ******* troll turns around and hires Onion...
Only a Fool would argue about Patterson...He would've DESTROYED the ACC Coastal....and would have killed it at UM....

Basically all of this.

Except targeting, they teach targeting apparently at Wisconsin.

Wisconsin just has a great program. They have a culture that just fits that region.

Chyrst's record outperforms his recruiting rankings. Does more with less. 43-12 in his career. Wow. He's an outstanding coach who could probably win a championship with access to more talent. He's one of the coaches I wish Miami had looked at during the 35 minutes between Richt retiring and Diaz getting hired.

So....... Gary Patterson as their coach has done more with less then any coach in the country so that means they've always had great coaching like I said..... ok

It was 35 minutes? ****, what took them so long? Was there a line at Starbucks?

And not TCU??....Lol...more Wins than Boise since 2013...and were screwed from a playoff in 2014....

Patterson is a great coach. He’ll have down seasons but usually it’s only one. Hard to recruit against Texas, TAMU, OU, and the rest.

Imagine Miami if Dee had hired Patterson away from TCU, instead of promoting Shannon.

I think that's a hard pull.

Any coach that's got a Top 25 programme is going to think twice before going to Miami at this point.

7 years? Patterson has killed at TCU for a lot longer than that.

I’ve hear he stays at TCU because he has backend deal with local oil money that kicks in when he retires from TCU. Potentially the kind of money you can’t buy out. FWIW.
