Which Rs Players from 2015 class will contribute in 2016?

How has Gerald Willis only been nominated twice? He won practice squad MVP and was a five star recruit. I think he makes the biggest impact with Muhammad and Chad needing attention as well.

I think because he wasn't technically a red shirt last season. I'm pretty sure everyone expects him to be a huge contributor this season.

Interesting to see some people mention the LBs. Between them and the true Frosh LBs coming in we are poised to have some good competition and depth for years to come (hopefully).
I like it.

There are some people on this site that swear gordiner is the real deal. Have no idea - he's like the missing link to me.

nah him knowles, trayone, walter tucker, etc. those boys are the future.

No idea what you are trying to say in this post... Knowles is likely to never play here, if Gray can't figure out the offense or hold onto the ball he'll never see the field, and Walter Tucker just transferred.

G Willis transfered to Miami.

However, I tend to agree Willis having a chance to make a impact on our defense. We NEED a disruptive DT causing havoc, haven't had that type of player since Vince Wilford.

We could use Gorninier to ball out or a frosh DB. Our potential starter at SAM is coming back from injury and our Stud incoming SAM has a shoulder injury and could likely redshirt. Leaves us thin at SAM

Would love to see Milo or St. Louis push Sonny at RT/take a job at LT.

I think he was being sarcastic.

J. Gordinier-OLB

Probably Milo on offense

Will he stay at linebacker? or does anybody think he can be a situational DE pass rusher?
I just think with the depth and talent at linebacker and us switching to a 4-3 he could be better suited there.
Thoughts?

You can stay at LB and still be a situational pass rusher since you don't need the size to hold up against the run. I think Owens could do that as well.

As for depth - you can never have too much. With how up-tempo has changed the games, you need depth to rotate fresh bodies. Plus, there are always injuries. I love all the stud freshmen at LB, but some may need time to adapt and learn the defense as well, so we need depth.

Agreed, and from what I seen from other post. he isn't a scrub. I just don't know how fluid he is playing in space or dropping in coverage.

If you watch his HS highlight film on Hudl (all you can go by at this time) his strengths are actually tackling in space and physicality. He was in coverage a lot as a SAM in his high school 4-3 defense. Had 120 tackles and all teams ran away from him. I am hearing that he is one of the studs so far in the Mat drills (strength, quickness, agility, mental toughness). DE will always be a possibility because of his size but you want a kid with his instincts involved in more plays so you naturally keep him at LB. Grace, Gordinier, Quarterman......beast trio.

Agree, Jamie can man the middle and he has a high football IQ and the instincts to become a very good MLB at Miami.

Grace, Gordinier and Quarterman... Hmmmm

Going by what was accomplished at Ga. I would look for the Three Amigo's to all redshirt unless injuries force playing time...

Who do you guys see getting more PT, Jamie G or Smith??? Crazy to think we only have two MLB and that is Shaq and Young
