Which Player Faked an Injury? (Mike Ryan/LeBatard)

this is nothing new to football. sometimes the organization holds out a player and claims injury or sometimes it’s the player that claims to be injured. we just seen it with Kadarius Toney and the Giants. i think it was pretty obvious in the first quarter of the season some of these players were quitting on Mario and his staff.

This is what message boards are for. I think TVD overplayed his injury. He did not want to be out there at all. And I'm fine with that by the way. His eyes said it all. He wanted nothing to do with that game.

I wouldnt play another snap either. Certain individuals cost him Millions and Millions of dollars.
The whole season has been an abomination but we can’t act like TVD has played his best ball this season. If it takes running an up tempo spread for him to be anything at the QB position he’d be exposed eventually anyway.

I think Mike probably misheard the 40 number. The more realistic number, which has been bandied about by guys like Flo and cribby is that there will be a total player turnover of about 40 total players. Probably 26-27 recruits and the rest portals.

As for the player who faked an injury, who knows, but it's probably an upperclassman.

Yes, and simply from a mathematical standpoint (assuming we are at 85 scholarships), he may be correct. If we take 40, we need 40 to leave via all methods, including graduation.

If you go through the roster, you can easily come up with 40+ names.

Sad!

My guess? TVD. I saw him in the park across from Publix near UM throwing 80 yard bombs and laughing about how he can't wait to leave Columbus Lite after the season is over.
I saw him on Halloween in Wynwood too. He was dressed as Lincoln Hawk from Over the Top and spent all freakin night turning his hat around and arm wrestling any challengers- left and right handed. Restrepo was in costume as his estranged teenage son that he was trying to bond with.

Message boards are about recklessly making up damning things about kids we supposedly support because of how their eyes looked on your TV screen?

True.

I love this kid. Big heart , competitive , smart and is actually a really good player. He’s just not a every down horse, if he was 15-20 pounds bigger he could be but he just can’t handle everything that’s been put on his back this year. In todays football there’s bit many rb’s having the entire offense on their back.

My advice to Parrish is quit playing football. He might be arguably our best and toughest back right now, but he aint getting paid in the league and the hits he's taking just aint worth it. Not sure I have seen a back get hit hard as consistently as him.

Not sure if serious.

Come on now that's weak. Players know the risks playing football especially at the RB position. Let him keep playing the game he loves and he will know when it's time to hang it up.

hes gone anyways. hes a junior this year I believe and I doubt he comes back. RBs should never come back

Speaking of antics at fsu game, who was the player that was high fiving an fsu player during the game?

Doesn't anyone think that since Mario came to build his brand and program, he thought this year was simply evaluation and try and put a good product on the field with what we got?

The product ended poorly and it helped quickly with his evaluation.

I'm not gonna lie, fundamentals when it comes to the defense, I e. Players in proper positions or alignment or play calls, aren't bad, we just have busts EVERYWHERE and OFTEN and it ain't because this defense is over complicated. On top of that, tackling down the middle is medicine at best. Our linebackers miss tackles often, our safeties are weak tacklers, if they get past the DTs its at least a 5 yard gain.

Yes, coaches are the ones who teach tackling, but this has gotten progressively worse the past 3 years, and our best tacklers are the ones who came from other programs, i.e. Porter, Stevenson, and the DTs, so there's a correlation here.

lol no coach tries to lose games for the sake of evaluation. y'all just excusing what has been one of the worst coaching performances in our schools history.

Misinterpreted what I was saying.
Never said he tried to lose games, I think this was an evaluation year more then a year to win the ACC, cause we're closer to the bottom then we are to the top.
I don't like Gattis offensive system much, nor do I like his play calling.
I think Steeles defensive fundamentals are fine, just lots of busts. But that offense out a ***** of a lot of strain on that defense.
Cristobal I have confidence he'll make the right moves more so then previous coaches, but his OC was kinda trash, so we'll see.

The way he fell was suspect as ****. But, he shouldn't have been out there anyway.
