Around the 32 min mark. And was it last week vs FSU or last week vs UVA? The stuff leading up to this nugget is fairly interesting. Mike Ryan predicts 40 players gone this offseason via graduation/Portal/Draft.

I think Mike probably misheard the 40 number. The more realistic number, which has been bandied about by guys like Flo and cribby is that there will be a total player turnover of about 40 total players. Probably 26-27 recruits and the rest portals.

As for the player who faked an injury, who knows, but it's probably an upperclassman.
 
I can’t believe this , it did cross my mind also I just chose to do the same as earlier posters.

I’d be shocked if we have any more than 6 - 8 starters this year starting next year. It’ll look drastically different.

Probably not far off. My guess for returning starters next year (not counting guys who are NOT starting now):

Rivers
Clarke
Cooper
X
Taylor
Jackson
KK
JWill

Then you'll have guys like Chaney, Citizen, Arroyo, Wes, Harvey and a few others who will be in the mix (assuming they don't leave) to start.
 
We all just have to SUMP COST this season and let it go and clear out and or bench whom ever isn’t up to par .
Tell them they can leave or stay to get there degrees but we’re going in a totally different direction and be done with it .

I couldn’t get the edit done before you responded lol. I went 6-8 but that’s pushing it. Guys on that list need to improve a lot going into next year. I wouldn’t be shocked if l key guys left off this team. LT , DJ , Mesidor , X and maybe KK are the only guys I’d bet money on going into next year. Too many unknowns.

No, he’s heard correctly. I’ve heard 30-40 not counting recruits.

I love this kid. Big heart , competitive , smart and is actually a really good player. He’s just not a every down horse, if he was 15-20 pounds bigger he could be but he just can’t handle everything that’s been put on his back this year. In todays football there’s bit many rb’s having the entire offense on their back.
