Where You (Preseason) Ranking The Canes?

I don’t want to be ranked until we prove…..

Nah. Top 5

The difference is their conference schedule gives them multiple ranked matchups and their conference championship game will be a high-level game.

In the ACC we may go the entire season without a ranked matchup and there’s a pretty decent possibility that will play a four or three loss team in the ACC championship game.

Top 5 but we'll be lower because they'll focus more on who we lost rather than the additions and retention. It will look something like this:
1. OSU
2. Indiana
3. Oregon
4. Georgia
5. Texas
6. ND (smh)
7. Miami

Until Texas actually proves to me that they can put it all together on the field I still don’t trust them. Plus, they have a pretty tough schedule.

Ohio St. has to play Texas, Indiana, Oregon, USC, and Michigan. Not an easy slate and they just made a terrible OC hire.

With Indiana, can Hoover replicate what Mendoza did? We’ll see.

When you look at the schedules, Miami clearly has the easiest road. The Notre Dame game will be a war, but other than that we should be favored to win in every other game. I just think when you factor in talent and schedule, you could make a case for us being #1.
I don't get it with everyone blowing Texas. Every competitive game I saw them play, they couldn't run or protect Manning. Have they done anything to address that?

We should be around 5 but I wouldn't trade our rooster for any other team in the Country.

i dont buy indiana as a top 10 team this year.

miami should be top 3 and no lower.

toss up between OSU and MIami as 1/2 with Oregon/UGA rounding out the top 4.

Indiana get Michigan and Ohio State on back to back weeks.... don't think they will go unscathed this year...

Yeah it’s tough. Everyone last year parroting Penn State and Clemson at this point of the year

You gotta kinda fall back on teams like OSU but their roster is taking a beatdown this year

I’m biased of course but there’s no logical reason Miami shouldn’t threaten #1 conversations

Top 5. I think winning an ACC title and at least 1 bowl in the CFP after getting a bye is our floor assuming no significant injuries.

Wtf is up with this ND glazing? Can someone explain to me what I'm missing here? This is the same team we mopped the floor with and are losing the three most explosive players? Who did they bring in to replace that?

Also early bold take: Indiana WILL NOT make the playoffs. Losing Mendoza and those 30-year-old Seniors is going to hurt

Best rosters imo

1. OSU
2. Miami
3. Texas
4. Oregon
5. Ole Miss (if they keep Chambliss)
6. Georgia
7. LSU
8. IU
9. ND
10. Texas Tech

they had a beyond easy schedule last year and avoided michigan/OSU in the reg season. not saying theyre not good, but they werent the great of all time team and if it werent for us completely mismanaging the first half of that game along with some unforced brain farts, we win that title easily
