Where this team would be if we had had a kicker

I get it. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. Lets just savor whipping the semenholes asses - and we did whip their asses. And we shoulda.

Even though Camden missed one today but I do think we've found a kicker...finally.
or if our ol was playing earlier in the season like they are now. we finish season 8-4 and win the bowl, future is bright. Still shocked we lost to GT

All honestly we would have won 2 more games. Sitting at 7-2 not too shabby. I'm trying to remember all of the games but for sure we would have beaten GT. We missed 2 easy FGs that would have ended that game.

This is a very legitimate point. We lost 3 games bc of kicking. FACTS

UF would be a toss up. Cant expect any kicker to be 100% so have to factor in that even a good one will miss occasionally.

But Baxa was so bad, we attempted 4th down(s) plays from scrimmage instead of taking what SHOULD have been easy kicks. That said, I agree the UFag game was not a sure win even with quality placekicking.

GT and VT games are a "certainty" W.
NC was a 95% W
UFag was a 60% W

We have been spoiled with pretty dang reliable kickers over the years.

It's not just the points.... It's the momentum. ****, if we missed extra points or that second field goal, the whole tenor of the game would have been different.

Manny looked so friggin happy after the field goal gave us a 17 point lead. But I'm sure part of it was the momentum it swung even more squarely our way.

We would be somewhere between 7-2 and 9-0, but we would be paper tigers similar to 2013 when we started 7-0 and then were exposed. The kicking game has been a major issue that has cost us at least 2 games, but we have had our issues on offense and defense as well. Outside of UF, everyone else we have played has been mediocre at best.

Yeah but even after 4th and 17...we missed a relatively routine FG to win....
If you remember, I was smoking cigars the entire second half because as soon as I walked away from my TV, we turned it around. When fourth and 17 happened I went into the woods to try and get mauled by a coyote. I completely forgot about the butcher job kick. So I thank you kindly for helping remember that friggin kick! Great call brother.

It was freezing that night in Boston, my hands were blue after speanding the entire second half outside reading the game day board.

Dumb way to think. Every good team isn't the 27 Yankees, they just have good records that attract recruits which is what makes it sustainable.
