I'm located in Vegas tonight. Crazy Horse III .....I'll be the only guy there with a Canes hat on. Come see me and I'll buy you a $20 beer.

know Eddie Feely?

Cumberland, Maryland... WVU territory, and yes I still get evil looks from their fans everytime I wear my Canes gear.
Lot of Canes players came from Cumberland over the years. Need to know the history. Remember Cotton's Restaurant?

Eddie was my head coach at Cocoa Beach. Became one of the more successful head coaches in the state. Clint Hurdle signed with Miami for football but went into baseball.

one of Merritt Island's great teams had a tranny LB who later played at East Carolina. He's now a full-blown woman.

Merritt Island gave us Joe Kohlbrand, the Ham brothers, Hurlie Brown, Darryl Spencer, and I guess others.

Didn’t know he coached at Cocoa Beach. I knew he was very successful at the state level. I believe the tranny was David Pingston(sp). We put out some very good athletes from Merritt Island as you mentioned. I was super excited we had Joe, Eric and Bubba going to Miami.

Hurlie (we grew up together) was named head coach of Merritt Island as few months ago. Looking forward to seeing what he brings back to the Island.

Yes sir, I actually sent a message to you outside of this thread. I know alittle bit about the players from my area playing at Miami, I however don't know the names. I'll be sure to look into it more though. As for Cotton Geatz's restaurant I have eaten there numerous times. It closed down I think 2 years ago. It is roughly 7 minutes from my house now. Curious have you eaten there? If this doesn't post right I apologize, I don't post much but I do read the board whenever I can. You all provide alot of information for me. I appreciate it.

Remember Cotton's Restaurant? Sure do, took it tonight. I was down that way, lol.

Raised in Fort Lauderdale, attended games since the 60's...distinctly remember the 0-0 Notre Dame game in 1965, the QB for ND was a kid I played little league football with, Bill Zloch...0-0 back then was like a victory for us. Attended games through the late 90's then moved to Orlando and my wife was disabled limiting my ability to travel She passed recently so I expect to be attending games again this year, seems every game I was able to attend since moving to Orlando we lost, made me feel like a jinx, they better win them all this year...I got spoiled when we won 58 straight home games.
