With the new DC hire coming from the outside it looks like no on- field promotion unless Mario gets rid of Addee. The new DC is also a DB coach so i hope DVD sticks around.
 
Listen, this might be tough to hear, but OP brings up a valid concern.

This is a deja vu moment, if u will, from a certain recruiting cycle & the validation of having a former player on staff b/c of said cycle. When that cycle came & went, & those players didn’t come, ? marks started to arise.

The vouch for DVD to get an on-field position (although he failed the last time he had an on field position) was b/c of his “recruiting prowess.” Wellllllll, here we are, like deja vu.
 
I mean I’d still wanna steal Corey Raymond. But I don’t see the problem with DVD getting promoted. And if he’s willing to stay another year as an analyst I like that even better

Only half?
I think at least half the posters literally sit at home and think, “what has no one complained about in the past 15 minutes” and create a new thread. And then another 15% read that new thread and think, “why didn’t I think of that complaint”.

That leaves us with 35% rational posters

F the hometown hero nonsense. If he hadn’t played here we wouldn’t even be talking about him. When he was an on-field coach all we heard from the insiders is that the players thought he was a joke. The schools we’re competing with have Raymond, T-Rob, etc. and people here are talking about DVD for an on-field role….

He stands directly in front of your kneeling mother.....TVD is a big asset to this program and did nothing that anyone else has contended was the cause for the defections, except for your implication. Now go wait your turn behind Mom.

I wonder if addae stays
With Guidry being involved heavy with the dbs
I wonder how that affects addae
He quietly had a nice pull in stafford and brown
And dj Ivey did make a big jump under addae
And like a previous poster said
We going again trob Raymond
I still rather have addae vs dvd who is all hype at this time
